We were there over New Year 2012.. While the resort is going through some upgrades we were not impressed. There are some fantastic staff here - some - that frankly need to find a new line of work. Our big issue was that our room (this was an RCI exchange) was the pits. Old, horrible beds, totally run down, just not good. If you are not a Brit - you will feel very alone here - this is 100% Brit geared. Run by, catered to, set up for. There is NOTHING of Spain or Spanish culture here - so if you are looking for that - go elsewhere. The town is totally catered to British preferences , food, shops, drink etc etc...

Exchanged into PG via RCI for Christmas week 2011. Found resort location ideal for a relaxing break with all we needed within a short stroll. Trips further afield accesable via Titsi transport if required. Cannot thank staff enough for a fantastic time at PG.

We have just returned from Pearly Grey having spent a week there as part of the KGB £99 deal.

The PGOC is set within the small town of Callao Salvaje. The town is quiet and has about a dozen bars and restaurants. We were allocated room B1 which was ideal as it was on the same level as all the main facilities. The room was clean, basic and suitable for our needs. The tv had the main UK channels which was good.

The facilities are pretty good. The pool, sun terraces(s) and kids play area were in good condition. We had breakfast at the restaurant most days and found both the price and quality of food to be more than reasonable.

The staff without exception were all pleasant and very helpful. I was dreading the timeshare hard sell but was surprised that when the rep Tallas turned up on time all he wanted to do was to tell us about the PGOC facilities, Tenerife, it's beaches and all the best places to go.

There is a bus service from the town to the bigger towns like Fanabe. Las Americas and Los Cristianos but we took taxis most days for speed and convenience.

The beach is still under construction in the town and should be finished in the spring.

All things considered a decent place to go. Fantastic weather six out of seven days for us everyone went home happy.

Stayed at PG in October as last minute break. I have to agree with other reviews that some apartments are very dated but also aware of refurbishment programme in process, we were taken to look at refurbished apartments that were absolutely lovely. The staff in the bar and restaurant were absolutely great also really enjoyable entertainment with great team. No pushy sales pitch to become owners in fact very helpful and understanding. Would not discount becoming owners at a later date and will return o
