14 days in the sun.27/12 - 10/1 We booked by Hotels.com. E-mailed C.G. asking for a room with seaview.We maybe got the best... Fantastic sunsets.Selfcatering holiday. Wellassorted kitchen. There is a couple of supermarkets in town.Best way is to take the bus )472 to Lidl.Finish shopping ask for a Taxi in the shop .About 8 euro.We went eating dinner in the local restaurants : Sorpresa Sorpresa,Delfin Europa,,El Ancle.and Chinese buffet.The staff at C.G is kind and helpful ( Thank you, Antoniette).Nearest beach and shops,bars and eating places is Costa Adeje.(bus 472).Taxi about 12 euro.What was not good are there was no open windows in bathroom,no loose hangers,Hotels mini marked closed. No umbrellas in the poolarea ,many stairs and hills in the hotel area.

We stayed at the hotel between 20/12 & 27/12 and had a brilliant time and brilliant first Christmas away with excellent weather and nice people.
We arrived and were processed very quickly and offered our room (B3145). We found the room eventually ( abit of maze until you get used to it) and we were pleasantly surprised. Although we were AI we had an apartment with 2 piece suite, TV (which you had to pay for) fully fitted kitchen with 4 hobs and oven, toaster, kettle, electric juicer infact everything you could think of even t-towels which we have never had before. The bathroom had a hairdryer and in the bedroom we had french doors which looked out over the top pool (3 in total) as well as the balconcy which overlooked the sea (what more could we ask for).
All the staff were excellent and friendly, the bar staff were great as were the restaurant staff.
The food was a bit repetitive as it always is, but there was always something there you could eat.
As others say there are a lot of steps in the complex, from our apartment to the restaurant there were 137 ( sad I know) but it is built on the side of hill.
The resort is quiet (which we liked) with a few bars and eating places as well as a couple of supermarkets if your SC.
The beach which they are still building is about 200yds away, this was supposed to be finished in October 2011.
There is a all you can eat Chinese and Indian for 8€ just at the bottom of the hill and we went there a couple of nights for a change.
The bust stop is at the bottom of the hill outside Santander bank and takes you anywhere on the island for a couple of euros.
We liked it so much and thought it was excellent value for money we have booked to go back at Easter.

Have just come back from spending 2 weeks here. Yes it is basic but you couldnt beat the price, excellent staff who always greeted you with a smile, clean pools, excellent entertainment staff, clean apartments, good variety of pools. Only drawback is that it is all located on a hillside and steps and slope to get from one end to the other. Wouldnt fancy having a buggy.

Had both self catering and all inclusive but you can eat extremely cheaply down the road. Try McGinnitys Irish pub for great food homecooked.
Very quiet area but also very family friendly particularly towards children.
Will def be back next year

i have recently returned from this hotel. i went from 13th dec till the 27th. I cant believe some of the bad things people have been saying about this place. From the moment we arrived we were treated brilliantly, the receptionist knew who we were an we were processed in minutes. We were given a huge apartment with 2 huge balconies and everything we could need as if we were at home. We went to down to dinner and were met yet again by the most friendly staff who cudnt do enough for us!! All the staff were brilliant an went out of their way to make our stay brilliant. Alot of people were moaning about the food but like we said if you want 5 star restaurant food then book 5 STAR ACCOMADATION!! to top it all the weather was beautiful so lounging around the pool was lovely oh aand the sun loungers were fine!! The only down side i can say about this hotel is that it is very hilly ans there is lots of steps!! so think carefully before booking this hotel if you are not very mobile as there is no lifts. The resort itself is a small and quiet one but the bus service into las americas and .los christianos goes from right outside the hotel and costs 3 euros Finally i would just like to say a big hello to the bar staff mo, nico, natalia and cellica who were brilliant.
