We stayed here for a week and we could have stayed for longer. The hotel was in an ideal position, with lots of bars and restaurants close by. The owners and staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was sea facing and was cleaned every day. We enjoyed the continental style breakfasts sitting outside, enjoying the view. We would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a reasonably priced hotel with lots of extras included such as air conditioning, safe, car park, and wi- fi.

Although this is only classified as 2*, it is so much more on alot of levels.
It is not a new building but is well maintained with lovely modern furniture. The ensuite room was very well equipped with fridge, kettle, safe (no charge), air con, hairdryer and above all, really comfy beds! We had a triple room which had 3 proper beds (not an extra camp bed!) and the sheets & towels were changed half way through the week.
The breakfast was basic continental but ample, fresh fruit would have been nice but hey you can't have everything! It was served up to 10am which was great when your body clock is 2 hours behind!
The only small negative is there is limited outside space which was always shaded but it's so close to the beach this wasn't a problem.
All that said the one main thing that we'll remember the Captains House for is the owners and staff. They were warm, friendly and more than helpful no matter what we asked for and that's what made our holiday!

We have stayed at Captain's House for 2 days during our trip in Kefalonia; Lovely place, very welcoming and helpful staff ( especially Tina). The room we had was spacious, clean with a balcony and sea views.Great value for money. As well as the hotel they run a small cocktail bar which is a friendly and lively place, perfect end to finish our evenings. The hotel is near the beach as well as good restaurants and local shops with a free car park right opposite the main entrance. We have really enjoyed the atmosphere there and would recommend to anyone.

Hotelli on hyvällä paikalla, Skalan keskustassa, rantaan n.50 metriä. Huoneet mukavat ja siistit, (siivooja kävi joka päivä). Huoneissa on parveke, jääkaappi, tv. Aamupala kuului hintaan. Henkilökunta erittäin ystävällistä, lämmin vastaanotto, ehdottomasti parasta hotellissa oli palvelu! Vastapäinen baari tunnelmallinen, hyvät drinkit ja mukava henkilökunta. Suosittelen lämpimästi!
