We have been going to this hotel since it opened 9 or so years ago - both as a couple and then with our children. We've recently returned from our latest holiday with our 8 year old and 15 month old. As usual we were not dissapointed and had a fantastic time. Angela & Chris thank you for being such lovely hosts & for being on hand for every request & need that we had. The room was clean, linen & towels changed regularly, we had a fabulous room with plenty of space for a cot and of course a beautiful view. The pool is clean and inviting and is perfect for an 8 year old who spent every day improving their swimming technique. We love the fact that this is a real family business with everyone on hand to help make our stay memorable. Where else would our son get to play with the owner's children & learn Greek! The hotel is like our second home. We look forward to going back soon.

We returned to the Aeolos for our 4th time in August this year - this place is just heaven!!

Our 2 young children (aged 2 and 4 years) had an extremely enjoyable time in what feels like home from home. This hotel has a great friendly family atmosphere and is extremely relaxing.

Our days were spent splashing around in the lovely swimming pool, eating the delicious food cooked and served by Chris and Angela and relaxing on the beach.

Our evening walks into Skala, strolling along the sea shore watching the 'Igglepiggle' Boats (those of you who watch CBeebies will understand!) were delightful.

We would highly recommend this great hotel for families looking for a friendly, chillout holiday!

Our first time in Kefalonia and not normally ones to return to a place visited we are sure to return here. Visiting in the middle of September ensured a quiet and tranquil time in lovely surroundings. Perfect for those of a certain age - 50+. The accommodation was basic but very clean and spacious. The owners, Angela and Chris were the perfect hosts and made us feel very welcome. The pool area was of a good size but never crowded. To avoid paying for air conditioning do as we did and unscrew the base from your home fan and although the lead will still be connected you can lay the two parts side by side in your suitcase. There is a 15 minute walk to the centre of town which was enjoyable after a day lazing around. As you come down onto the main road from the hotel it is a very good idea to occassionally turn right and walk for 3 minutes or so until you come to the most amazing pattiserie where you can buy the most wonderful homemade cakes and ice cream for a very good price. We found that having a car for 4 days was essential to get to know the beauty of the rest of the island. A trip through the Agosoli mountains is a must. A bit hairraising on the bends at times for the normal city driver but the views are incredible. The only ldisapointment really was that I didn't think there was much choice of Greek cuisine in the local restuarants, although we found that 'Paspalis' on the road into town always served up good food. Also 'The Central' in Poros was a good place to eat. All in all, a wonderful two weeks.

We have been coming to Aeolos Beach for the past 6 years and it gets better and better. Angela & Chris cannot do enough to make your stay special and always make us feel welcome. The hotel has become a second home for us and is a perfect place to unwind and relax. The hotel is great for couples but is also family friendly demonstrated by the fact we have been going on holiday there since our daughter was 6 months old. She is now three years old and absolutely loves the hotel and was distraught when we left. Angela and family work really hard to make all guests feel welcome, and we are always impressed at how well they look after children and their safety. This year was made even more special as our daughter learned to swim in the fantastic hotel pool.

My favourite is the intimate bar which overlooks the pool and cliff-top view out to see. Happy hour 6-8pm is a must and is good fun. Usually made up of men having an ice cold beer why the wives and girl friends are getting ready before they come down for one of Michael's special cocktails! Angela and Chris do a weekly BBQ at which the food is outstanding. This is a family friendly event and a great way to get to know other guests if you wish.

The majority of guests are returners and it is great to see people from previous years and catch up. We have recommended Aeolos Beach to a number of friends and family who are also returning again which demonstrates how good this hotel is.
