We stayed for four nights and couldn't have been happier. Firstly all dealings with the owners from booking to staying were very positive and Anna couldn't have been more helpful in every respect. The location is good and the local town of Vira is easy to walk to and has all the facilites most travellers want including a very good, small , supermarket. The views across the lake to Locarno were fantastic and we could enjoy them both from our room and also from the large covered terrace situated in the beautiful, well maintained gardens. The breakfast in the B&B section was excellent. The rooms were simply furnished, comfortable and spotless and the interior decor of the house attractive. The only draw back for some would be the lack of an elevator and rooms are on several different levels. Parking was not a problem as there is an off street undercover car park . The accommodation is situated between a railway line and the main road but you don't notice the noise as it is not always busy. For those who like to swim , the added bonus is another garden on the lake edge with a small jetty . This garden also has a barb-b-que area.
