This is 5th Center Parcs in Europe that we have stayed at. It has a mountain setting (like the Sun Parks Heilbachsee, that used to be a Center Parcs) rather than the woodland setting of Bispinger Heide, Het Meerdal and de Vossemeeren. We much prefer the mountain locations because the woodlands can be a bit dank and damp when it's wet. Of course, because it is in a mountain region, the park is hilly. So we didn't rent bikes here and we had a little bit of a steep walk back to our house.
Would recommend looking at the park map on the internet and paying 25 Euros to reserve a villa close to the Market Dome, unless you want a long walk everyday!
We stayed in a Premier 4 bed villa (photos) which was a really good size. Lots of activities for the children and adults. The vast majority of visitors are German and Dutch which means that unless you speak some German, you may struggle. Many of the staff do speak some English, often pretty fluently.
You can get wifi for 24.95 Euros a week.
The Aqua Mundo swimming pool was one of the best we have seen at Center Parcs.
We would definitely stay here again.
