We were there for three days for a conference. The staff could not be more helpful. Service throughout was attentive, flexible and welcoming. I cannot recommend the staff enough. Anything we needed or asked for was provided.

The rooms are spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Shower was as good as you will get anywhere.

The pub/restaurant was superb - excellent food and quick service at reasonable prices.

We were rather disappointed with the room. It smelt of fish as you entered and there was a urine smell in the bathroom. The bath tub was very small (could not stretch my legs out to sit), and shower only worked after we fixed the chalked-up lever with a Swiss Army knife! (The shower curtain was of the clingy type, and surrounding wash area got soaked.) Towels were thin and hard.

The bedroom was quite cramped. A packet of half eaten sweets was in one of the drawers. There is only one bedside table, so nowhere for the person on the other side to put a clock, drink etc, except on the floor. There were no tea/coffee making facilities in this room (as described in a previous room.) TV was tiny. Balcony was spacious - but not the time of year for it, and no evidence of any furniture for it.

More worryingly, the fire door separating the stairwell from the corridor (4th floor) was permanently wedged open.

The redeeming features of this hotel were the breakfast and the proximity to the S-Bahn. Unfortunately, the restaurant was shut on the Saturday evening!

Lovely little hotel in zone 1 of Munich -four stops on the S Bahn from the airport, so you can arrive there easily at pretty much any time of day. As you leave the S Bahn station Unterfohring, follow the signs for "Medienallee", exit the station, turn left at the small roundabout and it's straight in front of you. I was freezing cold, arriving on my own in the dark late at night, and I appreciated being able to get quickly to my hotel and warm up. There's a kettle and tea and coffee in the rooms which - as a Brit - was very welcome! Ample breakfast too and the friendliest staff you could imagine. Highly recommended.

Fairly large rooms, clean, very friendly staff. Located in a quiet suburb next to train station and close to the highway, and only 15 minutes to center of town by train. Awesome breakfast was included at no charge. I've paid 15 GBP lousy breakfasts at English hotels; this one had a great continental (w/ great selection of breads including Bavarian pretzels) and hot breakfasts (moist scrambled eggs, bacon, bratwursts). Free internet in rooms.
