I always wanted to have a birthday party in Tuscany.This year 2011 in October,by pure luck and good fortune,I found Locanda le Boscarecce in Tuscany.What a wonderful surprise!! A little paradise tucked away in Castelfiorentino for my birthday party.
The owner,Susanna, is kind and helpful,she is very knowledgeable of the area and gives good detail informations and directions to all the popular and interesting places to vistors.
Boscarecce is very clean,quiet and the staffs are friendly.Susanna always tried her best to make her guests feel at home.All my friends at the party,twenty of them,appreciated and enjoyed her hospitality .She is an excellent chef and gives cooking lessons ,my birthday dinner was a great success. Susanna and her cheerful husband Massimo also owned Albion Hotel in Florence.The Hotel is decorated wall to wall with beautiful paintings,very close to the train station and is conveniently located in the centre of Florence.

I highly recommend both properties which belong to the family for many generations to any one who is loking for a clean,inexpensive and friendly place stay in Tuscany

I definitely will go back and visit again.

This place was fantastic. Homey, private, spacious - the grounds were breathtaking and the meals Susanna prepared each day went beyond the definition of delicious. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and time spent wandering the grounds gave you a sense of peace and relaxation, whether you were spending all your time there at the Inn, or if you were planning your next day adventure.
Susanna was an amazing host and made us all feel welcome and that we were part of her family. And Cornelia, her sweet German shepherd, was always there to greet you or waiting for a gentle pet on her head. I would love to go back again someday and stay longer!

This property is beautiful, beyond comfortable, and offered a serene respite in the middle of a busy sightseeing itinerary in Italy. All the wonderful comments people have shared about Susanna are true. She and her team provide excellent service to their guests and there are no words to do justice to the wonderful Italian meals we enjoyed. It is obvious everywhere you look that this endeavor is a labor of love for all those people who operate the hotel. You will not be disappointed if you visit...your only mistake will be not staying longer! Thank you Susanna for everything!
