We visited this place in August. Went with our children aged 12 & 10. Very impressed with the private atmosphere. We loved the food as well!! The local chef, is a star!! My children loved the pancakes and fresh fish soup. If you want to dine away, ask concierge. Theysuggested a lovely place in the town. (forgot the name)
We stayed in villa 5 which is built on two floors. Lots of space which makes it very helpful when you travel with a big family. The weather was beautiful, although 1 day it was windy. Locals told me the best time to travel to Zakynthos island is June and September. We took one excursion with a small private yacht and visited the southern part of the island – it was fab!
On our second day, the wireless internet was not operating at some moments. I have seen another review on this site mentioning this and I believe that the hotel should sort this. A very helpful lady on the reception responded quickly. The staff were friendly and nothing seemed to be trouble for them to sort.
The beach and water were lovely except 1 day which was windy. I loved the fact that I didn’t have to search for a sunbed. Everything was ready waiting for us.
Thank you Porto Zante for a wonderful stay! I would recommend this place if you are looking for something extra special.
