“Very nice”

The rooms are spacious, the ones in the new 800 building have a separate pool. There is a private beach on the other side of the road, hotel is connected to the beach with a passage under the road. The new 800 building is a bit farther from the beach than the rest of the hotel but it is still close. The food was marvellous! The staff are very helpful. The hotel is a bit secluded but in it you have pretty much everything you need. The village of Ouranopolis is close. I personally prefer Sitonia resorts but this is a nice hotel.

“Chill out heaven”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 May 2012

We stayed at the Alexandors Palace in early September after the August holiday crowds had departed and enjoyed the ultimate realxing seven day break.

This hotel compley is big, seriously big, with a choice of pools and public areas and a beautiful terrace overlooking the sea for enjoying a cocktail (or three or four) in the evening, snacks and great cakes!

We had a lovely ground floor room in one of annexes - very spacious with a large raised jacuzzi and clean modern bathroom.

We spent lazy days around a very nice quiet swimming pool with a taverna which served excellent lunches. If it opened in the evenings we would probably have been back.

However, we spent our evenings in the restaurants of Ouranoupolis, a short (but not inexpensive) cab ride away but probably worth it.

If like we do, you lead a busy stressful life, get down here for a few days 'chill out' time.

If I know that this is 3 stars hotel I will not reprimand, but we paied for 5 stars hotel. Very bad and unhealthy food, no any facilities, very bad stony beach with homeless dogs with fleas.
I don't recommend it.

“Don't go there if you don't have a car!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 September 2011

Again, as in most of greek hotels, stars are questionable. I have stayed at at a 5-star in Cario, and this is no match.
Bat apart from making comparisons. The room we had was in the "new wing", so it was really new, spacious, and excellent, facing the pool.
The food was, kind of, tasteless. They seemed to offer some variety, but as for breakfast, it was actually a copy-paste every day.
The property is spacious, a lot of attention paid to plants and environmental feeling. But at the same time it takes you kind of long to get to the restaurant (if it rains and you don't have umbrella, you soak), kind of long to get to the tennis court, and the longest to the beac, and impossible to get by foot to any civilized settlement. And yes, this is the main downsize. If you don't have a car, don't think of going there, because as beautiful it is, you only get imprisoned.
The beach is ok, the beach bar is excellent. The water is colder than in any other part of Halkidiki.
I am ok with going there; but going there again? No way. Greece has such an impressive and huge coast and so much choice, and this is not going to be my next one.
(the reception by the way, i found really really kind).
