We stayed for the first time in Posedion Palace this summer, with my wife and two daughters ages 4 and 2. Our general impression is that we had a great time in a family oriented hotel resort, and for a great price too.
Let's start from the beginning, entry to the hotel is a bit tricky - you have to come out of the Aegian Motorway for Leptokarya, then over the motorway, then take the RIGHT (not the left for Leptokarya) - this is a straight road parallel to the motorway, and you need to drive slowly to see the signs for the hotel. You take a turn left and drive almost to the see itself, and you are there.
Personnel at the reception was kind and quick, and we were able to take the car inside the resort and park just outside of the small building with our room - just opposite the tennis courts.
Room was pretty good, 4 beds were already set so we didn't have to use our baby bed we brought just in case. It was clean, had a small TV set, lots of space for clothes etc. There was also a big balcony with a great view of the green park and the see in the distance. Some of the furniture in the room could use a bit of maintenance, like the entrance door and the door knobs.
The main facilities in the hotel left a good impression. We had breakfast and dinner in the restaurant, and lunch in the tavern - food was generally great all-around and with many varieties. Soft drinks and alcohol (wine, ouzo, etc) were available all-inclusive.
On to the beach. It is good to have swimming protective shoes while swimming in the sea, as the near shore consists of mostly rocks, but there is also a ~50m water bridge you can use and get into the see without walking over the rocky part. Sea was clean and generally super-duper. Beach-beds are not part of the hotel deal, so you pay 6EU for 2 with a big umbrella, but you get a receipt and you can come back after lunch if you want for the same price.
On to the pool. Pool-beds are free to use, and there is generally more people at the pool than at the sea. Water was clean day in - day out, and the children's pool is located so that you can set up very near to it and watch the kids. You can also have a drink, as the tavern is right next to the pool.
Evenings were great, as Mount Olympus is nearby and there was a breeze almost every evening. There was also theater for the children, and several playgrounds. There was a pretty loud music show most probably at the beach bar, every night.
As for other services, internet was available through non-secured WiFi, which was mostly slower than what I am used to - although I got good broadband speed on a couple of sessions.
One day we accidentaly locked the key-card in the room, and when I got to the reception to ask for help, they identified me and provided a second key-card in 1 minute at no cost, which was in my opinion very good customer service.
All together, we had a great vacation and would recommend staying at Poseidon Palace to any family. Stay well.
