“Average hotel,nothing special...”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 September 2011

We spent 5 days(mini holiday) this september and it was good...We get what we paid for.
The hotel is up in the hill and you are supposed to walk to the beach long way(600-700 m).First you passed the hotel Forest Park,than the main road and than down hill to the beach....And on the way back...ufffff ...In mid.summer it is not funny at all....We used our car and than we go to Alexandar the Great who has the nice beach,but you are supposed to paid 8 euros for 2 sun beds and umbrella.To expensive.
About the food...Ok for dinner(no sweets at all) but for breakfast-terrible.No butter at all.No Nutella or pancakes.
Rooms ok,gardens well keept.
So in one-good for short stay,terrible fpr long holiday.

“Excellent, we will go beck next year so our friends too!!!”

It was the first time we were in this hotel and place Kriopigi. We were happily surprised the hotel look like and where it is situated- it is surrounded with pine forest and the sea (not on the beach). It is around ½ km away from the main road so you will experienced quietness having no traffic but beautiful intoxicating scent out of the pine forest. The view from the rooms is on to the sea. Rooms are big and have enough space between the beds, big closets for clothes, beds are big so my husband was delighted . Sheets are been changed every second or third day and towers every day. Room it’s been cleaned every day. Swimming pool, garden and grass are been treated every day. Breakfast – lots of different jams and marmalade, tomato, cucumber, butter, Greek yogurt, 3-4 deferent omelets, deferent sausages, coffee, tee, deferent juices etc….. Dinner - Greek cuisine tailored to suit everyone - always deferent soup, full salad bar, full of deferent dishes and cooked meals, fruits – ask yourself - who has at home more than one or two different dishes for breakfast, lunch or dinner - my child lowed it, my husband loved it, our friends loved it and I will only say - excellent nutrition. When not on a beach, children were always occupied with some activity or sport within the hotel – swimming pool, tennis or table tennis, basketball or in a play ground for them, cable TV or free internet. Internet was Wi-Fi and it was a bit slow. I suggest for next year – obligate expand the Internet network.
Sandy beautiful beach is cca.: 500 meters shortcut walk through the yard of the neighboring hotel. You have a steps through the beautiful pine until you get down to the beach. Beach has natural shade after 14h. Next to it, there is a beach with blue flag. We have been all over the beaches and enjoy every day discovering unknown. Few kilometers from the hotel, left or right via main road, you may find beaches for every taste: sandy, rocky, pebble. So, the best impression is when you come by car or rent a one.
Whole Staff is extremely polite and professional. Especially the owners who are engaged in all the activities, still having time to talk and amuse the guests.

There are many more details I can tell you about but, I will let you to, perhaps, discover your self’s. So, we enjoyed every minute in “PALLADIUM HOTEL" - Kriopigi and on holiday in Greece and with God’s help, we will come beck next year to same place.

Room Tip: View is on to the sea, cleaning every day, big, big closets for clothes.Sheets changed every second...

“Very good hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 September 2009

Hello,
I just returned from Hotel Palladium, Kriopigi.
I have very good words to say, so I will start with the plus-es:
- our room was clean; the personal entered and clean it each day; at about 3 days the towels were changed; there is no need for vacuum cleaner as others said as they have kind of sandstones / tiles on the floor and only a mop is enough;
- we have only breakfast and dinner included; breakfast was generous enough; dinner had: 7-8 salads, but I only tried 2 which were fresh; the dishes were specific greek and very good;
- the pool has very clear water and, what is most important, it was not overcrowded at all;
- our room had very good view to the sea; from its position, all the rooms have very ggod view to the sea; behind the hotel there is a beautiful forest;
- the hotel assures free transfer to kriopigi (on monday) and to kalithea (on wed, thu and fri);
- as we were going in a trip, the personal prepared us food packets and then waited for us in the evening to serve the dinner, even if the dinner is served until 21:00;
- very quiet atmosphere;

The minus-es:
- they said they have greek night on thursday; actually, the greek night is taking place at Pallini Beach Hotel, not Palladium;
- the hotel is located at about 600m from the sea; for us it wasn't a problem, but for comfortable people this may be a problem;
- there are no activities organized by the hotel personal; the only activity happens at the restaurant but is not notable; they should be more involved in this; there were people that said that the personal is not so closed to the client needs and I agree; anyhow, you can play here: ping-pong, big chess, tennis; you can ask to reception to rent bikes, cars, ATVs, etc;
- internet is not free;
- the water from the pool has chlorine, but this is also for the sanity purposes.

Other observations:
- they say you are not allowed to wear shorts and flip-flops at the meals but this is written everywhere, it seems to be an internal rule, and it should be treated as is; they also say that if something breaks in the room then the clients are not allowed to repair it and they have to report to the hotel reception; if a bulb gets break what should i do ? repair it ? i think that any hotel has internal rules that should be respected by the clients;
- when you pay about 200 euro / person / 7 days you cannot ask for "high class"; I think the hotel price is very good for its offer.

This place was outstanding! Excellent views, massive swimming pool, restaurant/bar/lounge and tons of things to do: basketball, tennis, table tennis, pool volleyball, etc, etc!! The food was delicious and the service was incredible- thank you Christos, Filip and Lali!! I would highly recommend this place to anyone!!

“I would not get there for the second time...”

What I liked:

- beautiful area around the hotel, pine forest, fresh air;
- excellent beach (at the Alexander the Great Hotel);

What I did't like:

- room was not as clean as expected, there were spider webs, hair on the floor, the furniture was dirty, no cleaning operations during our stay except taking the garbage every day;
- the food was not so tasty, and it was pretty the same every day (breakfast and dinner);
- they have romanian waiters at the restaurant, they seemed not very familiar with their jobs and not very friendly with the guests. I think they were on trial there or something... Anyway, disappointing...
- poor parking area, if you dont park within the hotel yard, you might find your car scratched or worse...
- far from the town of Kryopigi - if you don't have a car it's a nightmare to go there at night;
- far from the beach and you have to cross a very busy road, also.

  • Liked — The forest around the hotel.
  • Disliked — The room cleanliness.
