it is very wonderful hotel with an excellent staff . Everybody was very nice . The suites are great and we had really enjoyed our stay there.

We have booked it by chance just for a weekend. The hotel comprises of small stone houses, scattered in the shadows of lash greens.
The junior suite is a 2-floor house with a steep staircase up to the bedroom. On the ground floor it is the living room with 2 extendable sofas, fridge (but no mini bar), TV with limited number of mainly Greek channels and the only bathroom. There is a nice terrace in front of the house and privacy is felt all around.
Breakfast is OK for such a small establishment, but the restaurant food for dinner was amazing. Very tasty one in quite a nice surroundings.
There is a pool, we have not tried, since we preferred the beach.
The beach is almost 2km away and it takes few minutes by car. The good thing is, it is a private one, belonging to the sister White hotel. The beach there is very clean and sandy, provides also free Wi-Fi (unlike Petrino). We have tried the food there as well, but it was kind of a disappointment.
Please note that at White, children bellow the age of 16 are not allowed.
Petrino is situated on the main road and it takes 15 min walk to Afitos along a smaller but lighted road. There you can enjoy an array of lovely bars and taverns.

Petrino Suites is a different establishment from what we usually see, yet giving you the flavor of Greece and providing a comfortable and memorable stay.
Hopefully we will be back there for a longer stay before the season is over.

I still wonder if the owner/manager of the hotel has ever stayed in a real SUITE!!! We stayed in a so- called Deluxe Suite. For 2 nights. We experienced neither the Deluxe nor the Suite! But we paid the money for a Deluxe Suite!
Do they even know what the word cleanliness means? Everything was covered with dust: The lamps on the side- tables, the small table with the tv, the heater. Dead insects or what’s left of them on the curtains, blinds, ceiling. Dirty and smelly pillows on the sofa inside the room and on the bench and chair on the terrace. But the real dirt was revealed to us when we lied on the bed! They have placed a piece of cloth (as a decoration) above the bed.. which was FULL OF DUST!!!! Absolutely disgusting. Also the ceiling seemed not like a ceiling of a hotel SUITE room.. but of a wooden hut built casually by a woodcutter.. in order to save his tools in there. Also cheap mattress of bad quality.. SUITES need beds with comfortable mattresses. In the bathroom wash-basin was blocked. Cold and Hot water was oppositely indicated. Faucet was moving off its place. Shower head partially not working (blocked). Bathroom needs desperately curtains or any other protection from spreading waters all over while bathing. Towels and bathrobe need to be changed after a certain amount of time (= BUY NEW ONES)
No privacy unless you have the blinds and the curtains shut down all the time.. or else anyone can see you in the room.. either from the front terrace door or the back windows.
Constant noise by the Traffic from the central road.
Breakfast. Poor. Juice from the box (mercy, squeeze some fresh orange!!!). Butter cut in pieces on the ice (not packed portion and don t tell me it was fresh butter from your cow!) Not supplying the buffet after 10 o clock (the breakfast is till 11) And charging coffee of any other kind (for ex. Frappe!!!) than the filter coffee that was served in a bad and almost broken filter coffee maker.
Tavern (Restaurant). Where to start!! One waiter.. for more than 20 persons! Impolite, speaking quickly, bored and bad tempered.. making us feel that we were wrong to be there!! My husband asked for a plate that the waiter said didn’t exist that day but after some minutes the plate magically was found, ready to be served, if he still wanted it!!!!!!!! The quality of the food cooked and served.. mediocre. After all it’ s only a tavern!
The most disappointing fact is that even though the same things are written by many people who have visited the hotel.. the manager (or who else in charge) has the courage (or the audacity) to answer with LAME EXCUSES instead of fixing the problems. It is so sad to have such wonderful beaches in Chalkidiki and no professionals to support the tourists that come from miles away to stay in their hotel.
At last show some respect to the tourists and the money they give you. Otherwise change your name to Petrino bed and breakfast and lower your prices.

This is the second year my friend and I have stayed here, and each time has been perfect.
From the smiley welcome at the airport of the hotel manageress who recognised us from last year, we knew we're were onto another winner of a week. The suites are really more like villas minus the cooking aparatus, although there's a fridge which is great for a bottle of wine that can be consumed on the veranda befor dinner! We stayed in one of the smaller suites but there was still plenty of room, I hit the jackpot and had the double bed and my friend slept on the sofa, which was apparently plenty comfortable enough but during the week we discovered there was a proper mattress under the bed!
The air con was a lifesaver as the weather was amazing, but sometimes it was nice to just stand on the tiled floor and cool down!
The food was fantastic, we ate there all the time! Partly because we didn't have a car to travel around but mainly because it was so fresh and tasty we didn't want to risk a meal anywhere else in case of major disappointment! Every meal the lovely chap would recommend something to us, which we just went with even if we weren't sure, and everytime we discovered something we loved!
Last year we went down to the beach a couple of times, which is about a 25 minute walk, and spent the day at the sister hotel, White. This is a lovely place, great views and lovely contemporary feel. But this year we were feeling lazy and didn't venture out other than for a run every morning before breakfast.
We found out that the buildings had all been built in the late 1990's, which amazed us because it genuinely looks way older. The stone used to face all the buildings is lovely and the paint colours that have been used on windows, doors, chairs etc are all different but similar tones of what I'd say in the UK were Farrow & Ball....really gorgeous. Second year on and everything looks as well maintained as last year, the gardens are tremendous and all of the staff were really friendly and smiley.
Not sure what I can add to that really, other than the fact that we took advantage of a 25% off offer in June and the full board option was really good value.
