“First Class but functional.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 May 2010

Travelled in a party of 7 with ages from three to late sixties staying in three rooms (2 x twin & 1 x dbl). Bit of a mix-up with the web booking at the hotel end and only two rooms reserved initially but this was quickly resolved. Might be worth confirming the booking requirement by email/letter before arrival to avoid disappointment during busy periods. No English spoken at the desk but that's all part of the fun in my opinion. If you are looking for a "lounge about the hotel all day" holiday this is not the place for you but if you are looking for a scrupulously clean room and very comfortable bed to crash in after a busy day out and about then this is ideal. Three bed spaces to a room with third single bed as bunk style across the heads of the other two. Bathroom is also functional and quite cramped for space but does the job if used one at a time and is always well maintained. Breakfast is typical French hotel. Rolls, jam, cerial, milk, juice, tea and great coffee on a self seve, eat as much as you like basis. Value for money is very good for the conditions outlined above. Great for travellers on a buget. I'd recommend this place without hesitation but if you like lots of space and want bacon and eggs in the morning you'd better look elsewhere.

“I'm not going back.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 October 2009

My partner and I stayed here for one night in September 2009 on the way to Paris. When I booked it, I thought it would be like Best Western or Days Inn, etc - one of those big corporate motel sort of places. I was quite wrong. It was like being in a submarine. Tiny window, bunk bed, and very little space to walk around. The bathroom was the smallest I've seen. You can't turn around in the shower without having the shower curtain wrapped around you, or getting the whole bathroom wet.

I guess you pay for what you get. It was only like 35 euros a night. Not going back again though.

“Good price and clean room”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 May 2009

As with all the Premiere Classe motels, the room is minimal, but if you just want a place to sleep at a reasonable price, it’s fine. The room was clean. It’s away from the highway and quiet. It’s a little hard to find, grouped with several other hotels. If you’re on the D934 look for the Novotel—it’s right behind that. Nearby is a Carrefour shopping center with a McDonalds and a Flunch cafeteria. The latter is a good place to eat. There is a Campanelle restaurant on site but we didn’t try it.

“It's not bigger than a Forumla 1”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 August 2008

We knew we needed one cheap night on this holiday and chose the Premiere Class in the hope the room might be bigger than a Formula One - It wasn't.
Like most things in life you get what you pay for, the time capsule description given by the previous reviewer sums it up nicely, my only comment would be don't try to move your arms in the shower because you'll bang your elbows!

  • Liked — The bit of grass outside the door (stretch your legs)
  • Disliked — All of it - but I knew I'd dislike it anyway. It was all about price and on that basis it was OK

“Clean and basic”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 August 2008

The rooms are very small, with a double bed and a single running crosswise above. The bathroom is a tiny 'capsule' type one.
The TV only has 5 channels but there is free wifi so take your laptop!!
The room was clean and the air conditioning was wonderful!!

The breakfast is overpriced but there is a shopping centre very close by with cafes and a supermarket.
Not really suitable for large teenagers.
