We stayed nine days at this nice island and enjoyed every moment. We didn´t see any other hotel that we rather would have stayed in. Martha and Michail were terrific hosts and helped us planning our trips to Athen and Aegina. The food was excellent and we used the sun chairs on the beach and took our bath in the ocean. It was just lovely!
Next time to Agistri we will definitely stay at Oasis Scala Beach.

We stayed at this hotel for four days last year. The island is very near Athens with awesome beaches, but when it comes to accommodation has few good options ! Oasis was one of the best hotels we found after an extensive search. Few of the rooms have amazing sea view but we were not one of the lucky ones. Unfortunately the majority of the rooms do not have a view so make sure you book in advance. The room itself was nothing special. Poor, naked, with a small tv, white walls, and beds like you see in all low budget tourist accommodations all over Greece. The exterior of the hotel is much nicer than the interior, as the hotel has a nice pool bar that also happens to be very popular at night. The pool is unusable, too dirty to swim in, so I guess they have it as a decor and not as a pool to be used by the occupants. The restaurant spot near the pool bar is also quite nice, and very crowded in the morning. So, if you are going to agistri, Oasis hotel is fine for a couple of days, as long as you do not spend alot of time inside the room.

Just returned from staying at the hotel, based on reviews on tripadvisor. Excellent room and very helpful and friendly owners. Food at the hotel was the excellent- better than anything we found elsewhere on the island. Scala is fairly busy in August, but still a beautiful setting and a good base to explore some of the quieter beaches (local bus or the tourist train makes this easy). Pool bar was a little noisy at night, but it did not bother us. Overall, would strongly recommend this hotel and the island in general.
