“Perfect for de-stressing and re-energising”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 September 2011

Wonderful simple but comfortably functional bedroom/ Great view of the sunrise on the days I managed to peel my eyes open, plenty of places to sunbathe. Lovely food especially when cooked on the grill by Nikos. The staff were friendly and knew when to leave you alone and when to have a chat. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and was able to find space to do some vision planning for the future. I sincerely hope I have the opportunity and funds to go again. Thank-you to all at Rosy's Little Village for making my stay so stress free.

“Your own private paradise”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 September 2011

Rosy's Little Village is the best place we've stayed in Greece so far! We were looking for a tranquil place that's not overrun by tourists and not in an overly commercial setting. This is exactly what we got at Rosy's. It is a private set up, and is very welcoming and feels right at home. The setting really is amazing. My boyfriend said that you couldn't get any better if you travelled to the Caribbean on a luxury holiday and it really is true. The little village overlooks the sea, and the small private beaches are just a few steps away. We had a sea view, and a room which had a fridge and air conditioning which is all you could need. Rosy also has a restaurant, with stunning views (the views are gorgeous wherever you turn!), and they serve delicious home-cooked food. (Ask for what they've prepared that day, and be sure to order watermelon after dinner :) The little village occupies quite a large space, two little beaches, a large open restaurant and plenty of seating areas (ie lounging around areas!). To my delight, they also have a hammock, a tree house, canoes and bikes. There is a good path along the coast and very worthwhile doing a cycle along the path. Everyone at Rosy's is very friendly with each other, and when we were there there seemed to be a a few repeat guests which is always good! The breakfast is continental, I enjoyed the fresh fruit and yoghurt the most :) I am so glad we stayed at Rosy's. We normally like to go to different places each time, but this is the first time i've considered coming back :)

“Peaceful Place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 September 2011

A kind peaceful place to stay. One of the few quieter places in the area, set away from Scala. Beautiful views out to sea. Great to have the use of bicycles to be free to explore.

The island itself, very small and easy to travel round. Good quiet relatively people free places to swim, rest, read, picnic....(look out for spiky sea urchins in some places)

Alot of tourists from Athens in the main area of Scala, mostly to be avoided if you want quiet. Supermarket in Milos, good kind friendly folk running it, great fresh fruit and veg, meanwhile supermarket on inner road from Scala to Milos has some good healthfood products/ gluten free things should you need!

Agistri island is a simple and beautiful island, good place for simplicity/ rest.

On a personal note, I dont normally stay in hotels and did find it quite expensive, although I expect it is a normal rate for a hotel...

It would be possible to camp your way around Agistri pretty easily.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the 'sea' side of the hotel, with sea view, rather than a room set back fr...

“We loved it and certainly come back!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 September 2011

We were very surprised in a positive way! Rosy's little village is small but lovely. A place you directly feel at ease and home. We loved the food above all! Clean autenthique rooms, just as we like it. Alle the appartments together form a nice total. The family likes to do everything to give you a nice holiday. Agistri is also a very beautifull and peacefull island. A trip to Moni is very special for a day. Clean water is all over the place.
