A true gem of Corfu Town. Conveniently located within Corfu town where you hear very little noise from the main town centre traffic or pedestrians. When we arrived our room wasn't ready, we were early though but they kindly offered us refreshments and upgraded us, at no extra charge, to a room on the front with balcony. Beautiful! The rooms are spotless, clean and tidy with all the little nick-nacks that are well appreciated by the weary traveller! As we were only staying one night they offered to keep our bags during the day, as we had a night flight, and would book us a taxi when ever we were ready. Knowledgeable of the area and what to see.

The Bella Venezia is a gem in terms of location and decour. The hotel is perfectly situated at the crossroads of the old and new towns, making it easy to get around. The rooms are large and very comfortable, the gardens are lovely and the common area is a great place to meet or have a drink. Breakfast is excellent, whether you have it in the garden or the separate green house. And the service is some of the best we have ever encountered: friendly and helpful in every way, including advice on touring, assistance with the car rental and special attention in helping us arrange the ferry and bus trip to the mainland. I felt like I was staying with family. We want to give special thanks to Spyros and his lovely wife Eleni for all of their help.

What a lovely little hotel! Very well located just steps from the main area of the old town, this hotel is a real charmer. The rooms, although small, are very nicely appointed and the staff is super friendly and helpful. They were very knowledgeable about what to see and how to get there with public transportation. Their suggestions were great and really enhanced our stay on this beautiful island. Their restaurant suggestions were also excellent. The breakfast is in a lovely garden and although the choices are somewhat limited, the food was fresh and good. We thouroughly enjoyed staying in this lovely place and recommend it highly!

I was looking for a hotel for a couple of nights at the start of my holiday as well as returning for the last night before going home. The Hotel Bella Venezia was recommended to me by Agni Travel, and although they only officially have a 3 star rating, which I was a bit nervous about as I wanted everything to be perfect (taking my Mum on holiday for her birthday) I booked in anyway.

What an amazing surprise. From the moment of booking by email, right through to the moment of departure, Bella Venezia couldn't have done more to be helpful. We had a wonderful cheerful welcome from Spiros, with cool drinks (on the house) to welcome us. Our rooms were absolutely spotless, with excellent double glazing and most importantly comfy beds. Everybody is incredibly friendly and helpful and it was a real pleasure to see a team of people who all take great care and pride not only in their hotel but in looking after their guests.

This is a truly underrated hotel and certainly deserves more than 3 stars. Some of the larger hotels with 4 and 5 stars could learn some lessons from Bella Venezia.

If you get chance, try the strawberry ice cream - gorgeous, and visit the Italian restaurant across the street, best pasta I have had in a long time.

I will certainly be back again if I am lucky to visit Corfu.
