I have mixed feelings about our stay at Bill & Coo but will be as honest as I can in this review.
We stayed for two weeks in September 2011. We were given a complimentary drink by the pool whilst we completed the small amount of paperwork and were then shown to our room, which, on a positive note, had almost as much outdoor space as indoor and the outdoor jacuzzi was great for sipping a cocktail watching the sun go down. We were also given a mobile phone for the duration of our stay, so if we ever needed anything B&C were never far away.
The breakfast choice is fair, however, you are charged extra if you stray from the fixed menu options and order a cappucino or a waffle. The lunch menu did not change once (!) in the two weeks of our stay. On our first day we ordered a burger, caeser salad & two glasses of wine -for the princley sum of 65 Euros - an experience not to be repeated...
I can't comment on dinner as we never ate at the hotel in the evening - the restaurant looked quite cold, uninviting and was nearly empty every night - however, that could have been due to the late season.
However the most infuriating thing at B&C are the sunbeds! These are single beds but with a double matress - so you can't separate them - great if both you & your partner like sun or both like shade - but what if you don't? We found one sunbed that (with the help of an umbrella) my husband could enjoy the shade & I could enjoy the sun, but the beds are so close together your options are limited.
The other point is that when B&C are busy - there aren't enough sunbeds for the guests - so you really do need to "reserve" your sunbed at breakfast; something I hate - and if you do like shade - there aren't enough umbrellas for the sunbeds...
Again on a positive note Mykonos Town is also close at hand - about a 10 -12 minute walk, so plenty of eateries to choose from. My only comment is that Mykonos Town gets really busy when the cruise ships came in - and that was late season in September - not sure we could cope with the number of cruise ships that visit in the high season! - far too many people!!!
To close, Bill & Coo is marketed as a Luxury Boutique Hotel - I'm not sure the description quite fits the "bill". I would describe B&C as more of a Contemporary Boutique Hotel - the luxury touches just aren't there.
So, would I recommend B&C for a two or three night stay whilst hopping around the Greek Islands? Yes
Would I recommend B&C for a two week stay? No.
Would I return to B&C? No.
