Okay, first off, we had a great room. We were on the 2nd floor with a balcony like the one they promote on their website and let me tell you...it was awesome! We couldn't have been more pleased!
The balcony was wonderful to sit on in the morning while having coffee or in the evening having drinks (or should I say...in the wee hours of the morning having drinks!)
There were 13 in our group in 7 rooms and everything went off without a hitch. The hotel picked up us from the airport on time and got us to the hotel where we were able to quickly check in to begin our vacation.
The beds were typical of Europe and just fine. However, the bathroom was above average. The shower was really nice. I probably took a few extra showers just because I enoyed it so much!
The breakfast was nice. Eggs (either scrambled or fried. One of the other each morning), either bacon or hot dogs (I thought the hot dog option was odd, but everyone said they were good...I wasn't really in for them for breakfast). There was also fruit, yougert, bread (not toast), cheese and cold meats.
The staff is one large family from what I gathered and they are all very, very nice. We enjoyed talking with them to gain information about the island and things to do. Great group of people.
The hotel is also across the street from Elysum Hotel, which is a gay hotel/pool bar. This place is ultra gay so if you're not in to that kind of thing, stay away, however if you are in to it...you'll love it....you won't love the drink prices though, that was a joke.
And now for the hill. The hill is real, it is steep and it should be a consideration if you have a fear of cardio. Once you get up the hill you really feel you're there to stay. So, get what you need from town before you start up the hill.
I would stay there again for sure, in fact, we're already planning on next trip. LOVED THIS PLACE!
