This hotel is in a great location, a very short walk to beach, restaurants and supermarkets (one is open 24hours). You need to take your own pool towels or buy cheap ones locally. They are not over generous on providing soap either. There are lots of steps to negotiate and if your aren't good on your feet you need to think about this as there were no staff to help with luggage and there are no lifts.
The Los Olivos shares a site with another great facility that has lots of good looking and well laid out pools that you can use. There are lots of areas to sunbathe, you can get a sunbed easily and there are several quiet spots to hide away in. The pool was not heated. The poolside bar is cheap for food and drink, best value for drinks is during the 'Happy Hour' of course. The front desk staff were excellent, they helped us change from a rather dated and worn out studio apartment that I booked by mistake to a modern well appointed one bedroom apartment right next to the pool area. The upgrade cost was much less than our travel company had quoted. There is a lot of remodelling going on and the updated rooms are much better to stay in.

As you can see from the reviews these apartments are in two groups. One group is reconstructed so everything is new in them and they are clean. Some other not. So if you stay in the new ones you would have a nice experience. We asked the guy to give us two of new ones but did not get it. It is risky

Loved these apartments, very clean and spacious. Fantastic location and lovely pool area. Would definitely recommend and would be my accomodation of choice if I return to Tenerife.

get a grip !! we hated our room 2103 the fridge was broke the 1st day then the tap fell off the shower broke 4 times and the sockets fell off the wall aswell if the dont get a grip they will be losing customers.
