“Excellent”

We stayed during 3rd week of January 2012. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent in both terms of choice and quality. My partner had his birthday during our stay and the staff left a bottle of Cava wine and a note for us in our room on this day. The hotel is in a great quiet location with a regular and cheap bus service to the busier Los Christianos.

“This hotel was clean, convenient and comfortable”

We stayed at the Aparthotel Jardin Caleta at the end of January for a week. We found it to be in a very pleasant location right next to the coastline where you could stroll down towards the Playa De Las Americas in one direction and to the small harbour of La Caleta in the opposite. There are some very nice restaurants in La Caleta overlooking the harbour. We tried four of them and would recommend them all, especially Celso which specialises in fish dishes. The bus stops right outside the hotel and it is only 1.30 Euros into Los Cristianos/Las Americas or 1.00 Euro if you buy a Bono bus card which strangely is quite difficult to buy but worth getting. The hotel was clean, quiet, well maintained and the swimming pool was beautiful (heated pool). There are only two electric hotplates in the kitchen but this was not a problem. You can eat in the hotel restaurant if you wish. There are activities and entertainment in the hotel although we did not get involved with these. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. Overall we were delighted with the area and the hotel and would recommend it to anyone. We thought the area of Fanabe/Puerto de Colon/Las Americas/Los Cristianos to be quite tacky and unpleasant and we were pleased not to be staying in any of those areas.

“Clean, friendly and relaxing”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 November 2009

We stayed at Jardin Caleta for 14 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our tour rep advised us we were their only customers staying at the hotel which I can't understand as it was super. The staff were friendly and helpful. there were lifts to every floor, the view from our room was awsome, from Parque Santiago on the left, round to the tiny La Caleta harbour on the right, right out to sea to La Gomera. The food in the hotel was plentiful, fresh and tasty, and the ladies who ran the pool restaurant during the day were absolutely lovely. If you fancied a short walk round to La Caleta there were a number of very reasonable restaurants catering to every taste.
The bus stopped right outside the hotel, and for Euro 1.30 we could travel right to Los Christianos, and the bus drivers thought they were Stirling Moss - great fun! One small blot was the newly created 'beach' beside the hotel, which has a strip of unpleasant sand at the back and then a huge hump of really sharp shingle leading to the sea at a very sharp angle. We visited once - for all of 30 minute and left with very sore feet.. A 20 minute walk took you to Del Duque beach - absolutely marvellous soft sand and lovely warm sea. However, we spent most of our time beside the pool. Both the larger pools were rather deep at 1.75m, but there was a toddler pool for the teenies. Most of the children didn't care about the depth and in case of emergency, a lifeguard was on duty every day from 10.30 till 5.30pm. And for those who preferred a quiet time there is a jaccuzzi and space for about 12 sunbathers up on the roof!! All in all a very pleasant holiday and one we will be repeating at the same hotel again.

Hotel Jardin de Caletta, Caletta, Tenerife

We stayed for a week At Easter 2003. It was an apart hotel. It was said to be 3* but I would say 2* really. The apartments were nicely situated around a lovely pool and were spacious but the kitchen was disappointing just one hot plate and really small. Hot water for showers was a bit hit & miss but ok, bathroom smelt a little. Good, if you just wanted to eat out though. Kids enjoyed the location, the daytime ents and the evening shows. There was a whole teenage football team staying for a tournament so a good time was had by our teenage girls! Rooftop sun terrace & jacuzzi were lovely. Cheap to eat in dining room and very nice food. Resort small with not much life but bus to Los Americas was regular. Nice walk on prom for us oldies, past all the Costa Adeje 5* hotels....one day.
