just come back from majorca had to stay at this hotel,
food very good we had breakfast lunch and evening meal, also one snack which was cooked to order very good idea,
only problem the beds rock hard i did ask other brits only not many stay here all said the same,
lots of germans here as in all the resort,
we had one night just as well would never be able to sleep there.
we wont go back there .

We have just got back from here and I have to tell everyone how good this Hotel is if you have to have a Gluten free Diet like I do. We hadn't even booked to go here but our Hotel had double booked and they sent us to the Barcelo for one day and night. So they had no warning I was arriving and needed a special diet, but they provided Gluten Free bread and offered lots of choices specially cooked to make sure I was catered for. I even got a chocolate desert (cake) which was Gluten free.
For those on a normal diet the food was also top class.

Stayed at this hotel for four days from 19th Sept. It was not the hotel we originally booked but we were sent here as alternative accomodation as our hotel had over booked!!! The hotel was clean and everywhere looked tidy. The food at all sittings was fantastic, had lots of choice and tasted good. puddings were to die for!. The snacks in the pool bar were limited and food could not be ordered while the restaurant was open which was inconvenient if you were around the pool and just wanted a sandwich. Standard rooms are very very small and as we were not originally suppose to be staying at this hotel we did complain and got an upgrade to a superior room at the expense of the other hotel. Much nicer room overlooking the pool, larger with full size bath/shower, flat screen tv, fridge and tea/coffee facilities. Again as previous reviews think we were the only english people there so conversation very limited. Close to the bierfest areas which again are full of germans who can be quite rude and very noisy in the middle of the night. All in all a great stay.

It's a bit of a cliche but it really sums up our opinion of this hotel. We took advice from other reviews and went All Inclusive. Another useful tip was to go for a one-bedroom apartment rather than just a double-room. The food in the hotel was excellent which incidentally is what attracted us from the other reviews. There were was something to suit every taste and many dishes had health information that is useful for dietry needs. All the staff were great and nothing was too much trouble especially the restaurant staff who were also great with kids. The apartment was spaceous and clean and we were lucky to get a great location beside the swimming pool. The only downside was that we appeared to be the only english speaking couple in the hotel which meant that conversations at meal times and around the pool were somewhat limited. The hotel has a fitness centre and provides some Spa treatments but we didn't use either. The lovely Playa de Palma beach is a short walk from the hotel. There was some form of entertainment in the hotel most evenings but there are many bars, shops and restaurants close by if you want something different from what the hotel provides.
