We went here in April and myself, my husband and my then 1 year old daughter stayed in the Sahara building and although it was a little small, it was clean and that's all we wanted as we didn't spend much time in the room anyway. The main complex was great with good entertainment and a few pools to take your pick from. Yes, there were big queues at the bar however, it took a matter of a few minutes to be served!! The hotel will help you out with booking day trips etc. and even provide a packet lunch (as long as you tell them the day before). I think people that moan about this holiday when they pay such a cheap price is laughable really!! We are looking at going back again sometime soon!! :-)

My husband and i stayed at the beginning of October, we have travelled almost all of Spain and its islands. I must say this is the worst holiday we have ever had, the beaches and shops etc were great, but the hotel is an other thing altogether it was very noisy from the outdoor entertainment under our window, we were not informed prior to our travel that we would have to endure this for 4-5 hours every night, long queue for drinks as there was only 1 bar open, very noisy restuarant, and my letter of complaint fell on deaf ears, apparently i got what i paid for, and it was the height of summer!!! i wonder what its like in August. There are rules and regulations for the british, but it seems not the germans or spanish !!!! Sue

19.10.2011-26.10.2011 my family and i spent a week here in the hawaii block which was very clean and bright. The food was always hot and a good selection,most of the complex was 3 star the only downside was the bar it took a long time to get served and only 2 small plastic cups per person,but for the price it was good valve for money.

Went to the Palma 14yrs ago when our kids were young and revisited it at the end of september courtesy of our daughter. On arrival in the early hours a security guard was summoned to escort us 4 or 5 streets away to an annex, arriving in our designated room my wife said just what I was thinking, this is like student accomodation and we reversed out the door and retracked to reception again. The guy at reception although very polite advised us that there were no other rooms available but if we came back in the morning then they would see what they could do. We decided to have a few hours sleep and to do as he asked so off we went to the jail cell again, had a sleep and were back at reception by 08.30. We again explained our case and the lad on reception produced the booking invoice stating annex building. Having been to the Palma before we already knew that there were 2 or 3 buildings making up the hotel and obviously took annex to be one of the original buildings in hotel grounds, not half way round the town but 5euro per head per night made all the difference and we were given a room on the 6th floor overlooking the entertainment area and pools, Perfect!!. Moral of the story, know what you're booking when you're booking. Hotel is as good now as it was on our 1st visit 14yrs ago, food excellent, rooms very clean, pools plentiful as are sun loungers. Entertainment adequate, never felt the need to go elsewhere although entertainers, Steve, Roddy and Jenny from our 1st visit would be very hard to match. Hotel was packed while we were there which led to queues at the bar in the evenings but they regularly doubled the bar staff to 4 which kept the queues flowing.
