“Quiet location, average room, friendly staff”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 September 2011

We had a "sea view" twin bed room in the corner of the 5th floor - there was a big terrace attached to the spacious room, which we believed may be more used for travellers with additional guests, had a sea view that you could just about see if you looked hard enough. There were clothes racks (we used it to dry swimsuits), plastic chair/table. The room, though not cosy, was very practical.

The pools were adequate and enough sun loungers. Towels required 10 euro deposit and you get the money back. There were groups of German men (probably 5-10 in a group) which seemed to be everywhere in Playa de Palma and is unlike anything we've ever seen. On our 2nd day they were playing ball games and therefore occupied the pool. There were mainly (or only?) German guests at the hotel but it did not bother us. Most of them were friendly.

Restaurant had a good selection of food and half board was good for us (rather than full board) as the beach was 10 mins away and when we set out in the morning we don't usually come back until later that day. Local grocers near the hotel for water and other essentials. There were also many similar hotels in the same quiet, residential area.

During our stay there was "live" entertainment every evening: flamenco, dance group, guitar performance to a small group of guests, we actually quite enjoyed this! Wifi Internet was only available in the lobby and didn't stretch far enough to the rooms which was a shame but not a massive problem. Staff were really friendly and helpful. We have nothing to complain, it's an average hotel and you get what you pay for.

Room Tip: Pool view bedrooms may be better and cosier than "sea view" rooms, not sure if it'd be...

“Nice hotel - 10 min walk from the best beach ever”

I can reccomend this hotel - very nice and friendly staff. Breakfast buffet very good with many choices. Dinner buffet also with many choices - nothing to complaint about. Rooms small but clean. Evening entertaintment every day - but not high standard. All in all - match between price and value.10 min. walk to the best beach ever - 5 kilometers of fantastic beach with toilets and café for every 50 meters. Very nice area - well kept, very clean and along the beach is restaurant after restaurant and everywhere you will find friendly staff. I can really reccomend this hotel and especially this area.

“Outstanding *** Hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 September 2009

This is a very fine, well maintained hotel with friendly and proffessional staff. This is what you'll find at the hotel.
Situated: 800 m from the beach in a nice quied surrounding at Playa de Palma. Ten minutes from airport by taxi (€ 17,00)
Lobby: air conditioned with good seats.
Elevators: Out datet but well maintaind. Now and than long waiting times because of the absence of non intelligent computer software.
Room: Very tidy with a good proportioned wardrobe and good beds. Room is cleaned every day.
Safe: in wardrobe. Cost aprox. € 1,70 per day.
Airco: The airco is on every day you enter the room.
Socket outlets: Only two. One in bathroom and one for tv.
Bathroom: föhn: not available, shower is high on wall and not adjustable and there is a bath combined with the shower. Allways plenty of hot water, alltough the water pressure is a bit low
Dining room: Breakfast from 7:30 - 10:30 am and dinner from 7:00 - 9:30 pm. The dining room is nice cool and there is no irritating draft from cold airco's. The meals are good and there is a lot to choose from, so there is allways something you like. When you enter the dining room you will be shown to a table by the staff.
Swimming pool: the swimming pool has good proportions and it has a jacuzzi that you can turn on by yourself. Arround the swimming pool is a lot of space with more than enough sunbeds. You don't find people putting towels on sunbeds early in the morning to claim a sunbed. Allso the swimming pool is surrounded by a lot of nice and old palmtrees.
There is a small playground too, plus table tennis table.
Price indication: fresh orange juice € 2,95 - coffee € 1,20 - cocktail € 4,65 and a glass rose € 1,55.
Internet: € 1,00 for 15 minutes. Slow connection. Wifi available, but i've seen people wandering around with their laptop to find a satisfying connection.
Animation: During the day: no - In the evenings: yes, flamingo, DJ.

All and all, a good hotel with nice facilities
