We had a "sea view" twin bed room in the corner of the 5th floor - there was a big terrace attached to the spacious room, which we believed may be more used for travellers with additional guests, had a sea view that you could just about see if you looked hard enough. There were clothes racks (we used it to dry swimsuits), plastic chair/table. The room, though not cosy, was very practical.
The pools were adequate and enough sun loungers. Towels required 10 euro deposit and you get the money back. There were groups of German men (probably 5-10 in a group) which seemed to be everywhere in Playa de Palma and is unlike anything we've ever seen. On our 2nd day they were playing ball games and therefore occupied the pool. There were mainly (or only?) German guests at the hotel but it did not bother us. Most of them were friendly.
Restaurant had a good selection of food and half board was good for us (rather than full board) as the beach was 10 mins away and when we set out in the morning we don't usually come back until later that day. Local grocers near the hotel for water and other essentials. There were also many similar hotels in the same quiet, residential area.
During our stay there was "live" entertainment every evening: flamenco, dance group, guitar performance to a small group of guests, we actually quite enjoyed this! Wifi Internet was only available in the lobby and didn't stretch far enough to the rooms which was a shame but not a massive problem. Staff were really friendly and helpful. We have nothing to complain, it's an average hotel and you get what you pay for.
