“Had a Great Time. Comfortable hotel.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 February 2012

For our trip to the HM Gran Fiesta from the 23rd of Jan 2012 to 3rd February we arrived to brilliant warm weather which reflected the kind welcome and hospitality we were shown. througout our stay. The other guests were mostly German we appeared to be the only english guests.

The hotel is elegant and well maintained with lots of different types comfortable seating in the spacious public areas around the bar and reception areas. the bar and adjoining area in the hotel has good views over the sea and from its slightly elevated position overlooking the promenade and sea front. Every room in the hotel has a sea view ours was on the 4th floor (there are 3 lifts) there are 9 floors in total.

The room and bath room was kept very clean and is well maintained the decoration is not especially plush and my wife and I were accommodated in twin beds which tended to roll around a bit to much as they were on casters. and I also found the mattress a trifle firm.
Our critisim was the lack of BBC on the Satelite TV .

The food was half board on a hot and cold buffet arrangement there was a good, varied & plentiful choice of food except that beef was not served at all except at one meal during the time we were there.

Some days during our stay the weather was cool and windy the Staff coped with this by making sure that unnecessary doors were kept closed and the hotel was adequately heated.
( the heating system was particularly effective in our room and we could easily control it to suit our needs.

There was entertainment on 4 evenings.

Near to the hotel there is great variety of Bars, Cafes, Restaurants & supermarkets and in the summer discotheques Night clubs other entertainment. Cycle hire is available and the breach is spotlessly kept and mostly sand. whilst we were there a lot of establishments were closed for winter burt there was still plenty of choice of where to eat & drink. The Tourist Information Bureau is half a mile down the sea front and was open most days we were there and lots of suggestions what to do.

The location of the hotel is ideal for enjoying the beautifull tree lined 5 kilometre promenade sea and beach ( ideal for walking cycling and roller skating etc.)

The buses are very frequent from stops outside the hotel every 5 to 10 mins throughout the day and evening teminating at Palma City centre 10 miles away or Arenal the other way 2 miles away. A flat fare operates which is Euro 1.50 per person each journey. There is also a frequent service from the same stop to or from Palma Airport Flat fare Euro 2.50.
There is also a daily service direct to the Caves of Drach The bus services and Trains on Majorca are frequent and excellent and are based radiate from central bus and railway station in Palma Fares are cheap.

Ideal place for a winter holiday in the sun particularly for mature people like us.

“Great hotel on the beach!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 August 2011

I stayed at HM Gran Fiesta over the weekend... as this was my first trip to Mallorca or any of the Balearic islands, I didn't know what to expect. I thought the location was excellent. Right on the beach, only 10-15 minutes from the airport, and 30-40 minutes from Palma (by bus). The hotel was clean, quiet and comfortable. Perfect for a beach getaway, really! All rooms have a sea view, so it was a real pleasure. And not just the glimpse, but all of it! The food was so-so, mainly meat, potatoes and bread. I certainly missed some salads and vegetables and a good selection of fruits and fruit juices. Overall, it was a good value for money, and the location was unbeatable.

Room Tip: All rooms have a sea view, so can't go wrong with options!

“Lovely hotel excellent sea views”

Right on Beach, shops on dootstep and pubs short distance so far enough away not to be in amongst it. Only British in hotel but food varied each night to suit. Very clean and civilised hotel. Staff were excellent. Only downside is the hotel next door, Hotel Kintiki which is basically 18-30 for Germans. They are up all night and very noisy.

Room Tip: We were in room 712 on 7th floor with excellent views over pool and sea. Room nice and clean. Clean...

We had a great stay at Hotel Gran Fiesta in June 2010. The location is perfect (the beach is across the street and the hotel is very close to the shops, bars, and restaurants). Everything was clean and well kept. We would definitely stay here again.
