Just back from the Panorama apartments - spent 8 days there from New Years Day. As per the other reviews they are fairly basic, but they are very clean. The bar closes at 9.00 though and one tiny annoying thing is that there are only around four adjustable sunbeds around the pool?! The rest of them are fixed to lie flat - not very comfortable.

As per another review I also emailed them weeks in advance and asked for a pool view but was told on arrival that there wasn't one available. (They didn't acknowledge my emails at all).

The most pleasant girl in Lanzarote works in the Panorama pool bar - she is so friendly, she chats to everyone and always has a smile on her face, a pleasure to deal with!

Our flight home wasn't until 7.00 pm and they allowed us to keep our room until 2.00 pm at no extra charge and they also offered us shower facilities if required after checkout.

The price we paid was very cheap and we were very happy with what we got for the price - we will definitely be going back.

This was our second trip to Puerto del Carmen and although the hotel was in a better location, just off the strip and not too far from the old town the rooms were very basic. There was no bar on site, also there was no snack/pool bar either. The pool was very nice although not heated there was also a jacuzzi. and fitness centre which nobody seemed to use. From what I gather iit is adults only and not suitable for children. Hotel reception is 24hrs which as also handy and the shopping centre Biosfera is but a few minutes away.

Friendly reception on arrival. Arrived late on a Ryanair flight. Had emailed hotel twice before arrival, as per previous reviews, for a pool view room, but were not accomodated. Stayed for 5 days, around 21/11/11. Stayed in room 212. Road view, not really a problem. 1st room given was smelly. Asked for another room and was allocated very quickly. Room basic, 2 single beds. 14" TV, Sky news only English channel. Large wardrobe, with safe (Extra charge). Batroom adequate. Shower in bath. Good pressure and hot water. 2 ring hob. Kettle, toaster. 2 of all utensils, cups, plates, knives/forks/spoons. Pull out table/bench. Comfortable chairs around telly. 2 person patio table. WiFi available €6 per day. Pool clean and plenty of sunloungers. V quiet for our trip. Bar/Pool staff very friendly and an adequate food menu and full bar service. DIdnt available of food here. Only €24 per night to stay here. Excellent value for money. Beds clean, matress hard.

Excellent location. 3 minute casual walk to Biosfera Shopping Centre and Old Town. Very close to top end of strip and beach. (Behind Linekers bar as such, up steep hill). Excellent Italian between Biosfera and Old Town, called San Marco. Food is excellent, top quality and very fresh. La Bodega in Old Town would be the standard setter for the area, but this new restaurant is above that standard. Hope they keep it up. All in all, its Budget accomodation, but for location and value for money, id recommend it no problem.

Perfect for couples only minutes to both old and new towns pool view best apts clean friendly quite but basic a couple more english channels on tv would be great when waiting for missus to get ready to go out overall great value for money.
