for a 3 star hotel it was really 4 star me and my
wife went late oct 2011 the check in was very
quick and easy we found the rooms spot less
the whole apartments was very big penty of room
pool area clean would go back to this hotel we
only bed and breakfast but food 100% would use
this hotel again so come on folks give it a try

We spend one week half board in september, the apartment appeard to be clean and tidy at first but it was full of ants and cockroaches later so we couldn't sleep at night, we stayed mainly outside just to avoid going back to the apartment , on the 4 days we could not take it anymore so we move to another cleaner hotel because management were ignorance and would not care at all, the evenings were very boaring with only one guy serving behind the bar as well as doing all the children and evening entertainments (which was absolute rubish ) so one had to wait by the bar for ages to be served.
Not enough parasole by the pool and full of unruly teens messing about & kicking balls into the crowd and into the pool, the pool. The pool water was discusting therefore we decided to stay mostly by the horible deserted beach across the road.
The whole area is like a ghost town because most of the shops has closed down,quite scary at night, I could only liken it to a rundown council estate. I'm not sure howlong before this hotel will close down too.
The food at the restorant was even worst, the staff just like the rest of the management were very rude and the food was discusting , mostly repeated and leftovers from the previous day.the plates & utensils were so dirty that we had to look hard to find clean ones, Do NOT touch the table cloths because they have never been washed ever and they will stick to your skin.
It was a real disappointment and desastrus place for my family and I really regret having booked this place because it spoiled our holiday. The guests are mainly German and Spanish, not many people from the UK.
one morning we were still in bed when the cleaner barged in and started cleaning, the kids were still asleep but she didn't care. then they never turned up the next day !!
Although we had already had paid for all week halfboard I am glad we movedout on the 4th day because only then we started to enjoy our holiday.
I would not stay at this place even if they pay me because even the memories turn my stomache.

A very easy going holiday with two 8 year old boys who loved the pool and reception area with computers. The apartment was spacious and the large balcony overlooking the pool and sea lent was perfect. The complex had the feel of a luxurious English campsite; self-contained and good natured. The reception staff are friendly and helpful. The local food, we ate mainly at SolyMar, was very reasonable. The Aqua-Park at Costa Teguise was great fun - we took a taxi there for 24 euros. I would totally recommend this for an easy, enjoyable family break.

Ok if you are reading this then you have already decided on a cheap holiday so lets cut to the chase. You simply want the best your money (or lack off) can get. The % of write ups are positive and rightly so. This is a good 3 star aparthotel with fair size and clean rooms with a nice pool idea in the best location without being in the thick of Puerto del Carman(PDC) which is only a 10 min walk so go ahead and book it. Naturally it has it's limitations. The buffet is poor or average and not great for kids. You soon get tired of it and over 10 nights we spent 4 at restaurants. The 'anticca triatorria' just past the Hotel Antonio going towards PDC on the left is amazing and we ventured there more than once. 'Universo' was also a hit with the kids. The best beach is Playa Chica in PDC towards the port and take with snokel because the fish are as good as i saw in Aussie. Best day was hiring a car and going up to the green caves and Jamos de Agua and coming back via the main town of arrecife where the girls loved jumping off the port draw bridge next to the castle with all the other kids. Worst day, aquapark by a mile. Nowhere close to Aqualand or Wetnwild. Health and safety nightmare, a real DIY bombsite and dodgy water leading to mouth ulcers and ear ache. A rip off costing over £100 by the end of the day. Honestly, treat the kids to paragliding or something, still cheaper! Try and get block A, B or I for nice views of the beach.
