“Great family holiday after trying for years to find the perfect family hotel”

traveld to lanzarote in april for 11 day holiday 1st went to the lanzarote village hotel see review. After getting caught up in the volcano delays we ended up in this hotel , we could not belive our luck it turned out to be what we had searched for as a family for ages, perfect weather, perfect facilities, children (twin boys age 9) happy with plenty to do , organised activitys for everyone . We are just about to rebook this hotel if we can get in for half term , have no hesitation in recomending this , only downside was the size of the beds didnt sleep well but that was minor in comparison to the fab holiday including delays. Food great , plenty to drink and great staff . loved it !!!!!!!

“Great Place for Families and Those Seeking a Quiet Holiday”

Good rooms, a wide choice of food from three restaurants offering different cuisines, all of high quality. Lots of activities for kids and adults. Very good evening entertainment. Also very well placed to explore the island.
We plan to return .......

“Great Hotel, Great Time!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 August 2006

The Riu Palace was simply excellent. My partner and i wanted a relaxing sunshine holiday in a half decent hotel. What we ended up with was a fantastic hotel for a great price.

The place was lovely, the food was great and the staff and service was excellent. As soon as we arrived we had a member of staff hurry over to us, to sort out our luggage while we were given a nice cold drink as we waited to check in (10 mins). We were only out of our room for 10 mins in a morning to return to our room made, spotless and our towels and sleepwear made in to swans ets. A nice surprise! We even rang down for xtra pillows and a few mins later they were delivered to our room!

The pool was clean and had plenty of room, the swim up bar made all the difference. The only small downside to the hotel was the entertainment in the evenings, at little on the Hi- Di -Hi lines!

Morning Campers.... would recommend everytime.

“fab holiday”

We have just returned from a weeks stay all inclusive holiday at the RIU Palace Lanzarote. The hotel is beautiful with every facility to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. We were greeted by a friendly porter and a cool fruity drink. Our room was tastily decorated and maid service admirable. The hotel itself is immaculate.

The restaurants were unbelievable. They caterered to every nationality. My husband is a Catering Manager and i am extremely fussy!! The food was delicious with the added bonus of extra chefs at work stations doing their own speciality- eg smoothies, smoked salmon with champagne, creps ect.

The accomodation was very peaceful and relaxing. Easy listening music quietly playing by the pool.We were so chilled out it was almost too much trouble to get up and get a drink.

You can get to the beach through the back entrance of the hotel and across the road. The town is probably a good twenty minutes walk to the small boutiques and nik nak shops. One tip,we went in February and the weather was very changeable. The wind early morning and late evening was very cold-Take a fleece!. The rest of the day was very hot and although cloudy at times, i still managed to burn my legs.

I would definately return again and would like to try another RIU holiday in another destination.
