Apartments very spacious and clean.Excellent maid service.
Receptionist was superb and very helpfull.
Area is full of character and loads of bars and excellent restaurants within 50 yards.

we stayed here on the 8th of jan 2012 for a week,it has been our third time and it wont be our last.ideally situated near the top of a hill.Apartments are tidy and very clean.pool bar breakfast excellent but be warned one r two of the bar staff can be a bit on the grouchy side when u want to make a change from the menu..surrounded by by everything you need. massive supermarket that stocks everything and anything.plenty of bars on the hill,and just 2 mins from the old town.

just got back from the La Florida, this was our second time here, last time was 5 years ago. .Nothing much has changed since our last visit.The apartments are fine for what you need ,they are a little bit tired looking but for what you pay you cant complain. Wouldn't recommend them to people that have difficulties climbing stairs as there is no lifts which means humping your case up a few flights of stairs, so would recommend asking for ground floor. The security isn't that great either due to the fact that as the reception closes at certain times they leave a note on the wall with the code number for the side entrance, if any new guest arrives. Only problem anybody could read this and get onto the complex.Other than that we had a lovely time this could be due to the lovely weather we had.

we stayed Jan 20-27th 2012. Have to say we had a great stay at La Florida. Location is great just a few minutes walk from the old town. We stayed in room 332[recommended by another guest] and the view from the room was amazing. unspoilt views of the beautiful ocean. rooms are a little worn in places[not really something that would be of major importance] as they are very clean and maid service was excellent.

rooms were well equiped,free bottle of water, supermarket right next door open late during the week.reception was open working hours and afters hours access is through coded side gate. really cant complain about the rooms at all great value for money and super location and view. would recommend apartments on highest floor for best views.

Hairdressers down the road Andres, blow dry 14-20 euro, manicure 12 euro.
Restaurants we enjoyed were Cascada grill restaurants,
Emma's Cantina, Da vinci italy was also lovely.
el Cangrejo rojo- sorry but would give it a miss, service too long and food luke warm when arrived. but there is great value to be had but you live and learn after trying these places

Also just down road from apartments is a last minute travel office so you can book your trips would recommended grand tour trip and the teguise market.
