just reterned from the lomo b,anco apartments in puerto del carmen,great spot 5min walk to old town 5 min walk down to beach,apartments lovely peacefull,stayed for one week had to pay for tv 21 euro,s for week not many english channels,got one film channel true movies,you get 4 free channels anywat one of them is cnn news,next time wont bother paying for extra channels.you have a toaster coffee maker frigefreezer but no kettle.had to use sauspan .stayed in block 1 apartment 211 great spot sun all day ,,all apartments in block 1 overlook pool only ground and first floor in block 1.if you stay in block 2 it is 4 storey high and looking at small pool ,very clean complex pool was cleaned every morning all the block was nice and clean,if you go into the old town ther is a great resteraunt on your left going down to harbour lovely steak always full,cant remember name but you wont miss it.great food.

These well appointed self catering apartments are perfect for a short break. The complex comprises of two blocks and although a lot of people have previously recommended block B I would say they are pretty much the same. Block B is quieter due to the pool area being a little smaller but other than that I would say the apartments are most likely the same. We did however suffer a few little problems which were rectified in no time. Careful on using kettle, toaster and hob at the same time as the main fuse trips. Basically if using the two ring coker try to refrain from using the kettle until you are finished with the hob!! A hairdryer is provided in the bathroom but it is one of those Mickey Mouse ones that you have to keep the button pressed to use it. A challenge while also trying to style your hair. Beds are comfortable, and the apartments are fairly spacious. The poolside snack bar in Block A was good and the poor chap taking care of it seemed to be doing everything from setting and clearing tables as well as cooking , serving drinks, waiting on the tables while also coming outside to unlock the icecream fridge to allow people to choose which ice cream they wanted. Quite pleasant all things considering. He deserves good tips and naturally a pay rise. People like him are difficult to find. Sorry didn't get his name. It was Tuesday 31st of Jan!!! My pizza was very good. Omlettes also looked yummy. Overall I would have no hesitation in recommending these apartments for a self catering break. I would also advise renting the safety deposit box. Not worth taking a risk with your money or other belongings. Blairs restaurant quite close to the complex is also definatley worth a visit. Try his home made cheesecake!!! Enjoy!!

Arrived at Lomo Blanco at the end of January for one week. Apartments are comfortable and clean.. There are two blocks and although people had suggested we opt for block b we just left it to chance to take what we were allocated. We did however end up in block B which was quiet and cozier. The pool area of block A is busier and therefore noiseier. Less children at block B also which was a bonus. No disrespect to those with children, but now that mine are reared I enjoy the peace and quiet.
Beds in the apartments are firm, the kitchen is sufficiently decked out with microwave, toaster , Kettle and the usual utensils. Pity they don't provide a little washing up liquid and cloth for wiping worktop. The hairdryer in the bathroom was not great so if you have long hair or need to style your hair I suggest you bring your own. Towels were changed regularly and in the week our sheets were changed just the once!!
Balconies seemed to vary in size and also watch out for those that manage to get the sun in the evening so as to sit on your balcony and enjoy a snack or drink whichever one prefers.
Overall I would not hesitate to recommend these apartments for their central location, cleanliness and quietness. By the way the food was also pretty good. Careful with some of the drinks but the food certainly was good at the poolside snack bar. They also do happy hour if one enjoys such things.
So sit back enjoy your holiday and hope the sun shines. Also stay away from any of the electronic shops on the strip or any other places . They have very good fakes at completely rip off prices. One would need to take a camera or some such device apart to see how rubbish it is on the inside. Good luck.

Went xmas 2011 with small children pool freezing and was unable to swim all week. It is advertised as heated. Went half board and times did not suit kids 8am open and 630pm in evening. Food was good though. Staff friendly and apartments spacious and spotless. Was cool in evening bring warm clothes and windy during the day
