The Colony Club in Lanzarote is a mainly residential complex. It is slightly tired and if you are booking any appartment starting with one care has to be taken as the view is blocked by a hotel/office/shopping building complex. To get any view one needs to be on the east side of the main steps.
There is no one around most of the time so the place is more or less deserted.
The appartments have a glass roof, which acts a bit like an oven when the sun is out and really steep stairs down to the bedrooms which are underground with no windows. These appartments are totally unsuitable for children and to be honest there are so many better appartments on offer in beautifully kept complexes I can see absolutely no reason to go to the Colony Club except if you are living in Lanzarote and are offered an appartment at a very cheap rent.
