We've been to Puerto del Carmen a few times and would always stay at this end of the resort. the old town has everything you need. First impressions were that the apartments were ideal for what we wanted but thought the walk back up the hill from the old town would be horrendous - that was until we found the 'short cut'. For anyone who didnt find it, you just take 1st left at the restaurant on the corner, walk approx 25 yards to the junction then turn right and its just a slight incline for about 10 mins all the way down to the taxi rank in the town. So much easier than climbing the hill. It was only about 2.80 euros in a taxi anyway. Pool area was spacious & sheltered and we had gorgeous weather for the full week. Apartment 520 was lovely but would have preferred the bigger balcony of next door 518. Bathroom a bit dated but for what we paid, we couldnt complain. Would definately use these apartments again

I chose the apartments initially for the heated pool as its far too cold in the sea at that time of year. The pool was great. The location was very good theres a good selection of bars and restaurants in close proximity, and a 20 min walk downhill to the town centre and beach. The little harbour is closer by though. Theres an excellent cheap seafood restaurant just at the end of the road on the corner, youll find it. If you have walking difficulties this is not for you as its a steep hill coming back from the beach and centre although taxis are cheap enough. Theres a restaurant and bar on site which is reasonably priced. I would definately go back again.

Unbelievable value for money, very spacious, amazing view from room 404. We Wanted something that would be a good base, somewhere that we could make our own breakfast and lunch. Great set up, had everything we needed! It's not luxury, so don't book here if you really want luxury, but it was spotlessly clean, fresh towels 4 times in the week which was great. pool area was lovely, gorgeous view. Great little bar and restaurant. Pool was freezing but didnt bother us as we didn't use it. I can't speak for every room but our view was absolutely amazing. Really breath taking. I miss waking up to it every morning. The apartments are in the old part of the town which in my opinion is the nicer part of puerto del carmen. Lovely restaurants and bars there. Please go to TJ'S restaurant in the old town. It is something else. We went back twice, it's a Caribbean tapas bar. You won't be disappointed. I really don't have anything negative to say about the place, for what I paid for it, I was more than happy. I'll put up some photos. Request room 404 if possible. If I were to go back I would stay there again, no hesitations.

I have been going to Los Pueblos in November for a few years now as the weather at that time is still hot and its a great break before the run up to Christmas and New Yewr.
The apartments are comfortable and have all that is needed for a weeks break,cleaned regularly and pretty peacefull with most having good views of the harbour and sea.
The staff at reception are very friendly and helpfull and the pool bar does a fine breakfast and the prices are very reasonable.
Walk to harbour is about 10 mins with another 10 to the beach,its all downhill which is great but can be a hard hike back up,taxi recomended!
There is a good little complex of bars and restaurants wiithin 5 mins of the apartments.
Definitely great value at the price.
