i arrived back on the 30th january 2012, its the 2nd visit to this hotel we love it, staff are great food excellent but i would go all inclusive, half board get a bad deal on the drinks, its 2.50 euro for a small plastic cup of beer.. The entertainment has gone down hill since last year.. Also the local drinks are watered down and the coke ect is flat.. Apart from that great,, we had rooms 2136 2137 sea view sun terrace very private on the ground floor.. charmaine, leicester 2012

We stayed for a week. Self catering but all inclusive is also possible. Buffett of all inclusive is a bit basic. Breakfast was good but every day the same choice. Rooms are clean. Beds are good. Some upgrade is required as funiture is a bit worn. Service was good. Garden/outise was clean with several pools. Entertainment not great. Wifi only in lobby but not free however. Also a few pc's available. Small supermarket on premises. Closeby a small shopping mall with also a few bars and restaurants. Good 3 star hotel, not 4 stars as advertised.

we stayed on a self-catering basis,apartment very clean and spacious.hotel is situated next to the beach but if your looking for nightlife head into Puerto Del Carmen,which also has some really good restuarants

Fabulous hotel in a quiet area of Matagorda,
some shops, bars and restaurants close to the hotel if you don't want to travel to Puerto Del Carmen which is a short taxi ride away.
Hotel has a lovely pool area but the sunbeds are so close together. No room between the beds at all. Very crowded. Beach only across the road. Only problem with the beach was the black sand.
We stayed half board in this hotel and the food was excellent. Room very well kept and cleaned every day.
Bar staff were a bit of a let down. No personality with any of them and it was hard to get a drink when you did go to the bar. They had one speed, slow!
Entertainment was the same as any canary island resort. The usual shows.
