The Loma Verde (Green Oasis) complex has been sold for private ownership of the apartments. The new owners have formed a Community and the high standard of hygiene and maintenance is being kept up. Some owners do rent their apartments see owners direct web site for details. It has a lovely feel and the apartments and pool area are spacious with sea views. There is an Adult pool with a shallow end which beaches toward the deep end so it is ideal for all grades of swimmers. There is also a kids pool. The pool bar is now up and running, but you may need an interrupter for the Scottish accent !

Well located property.
It is on the top on a hill when coming back from the beech & old town so its probalbly not great for poeple who struggle with walking.

The rooms are scattered all over the property & the place feels really roomy
There are 3 pools & plenty of sun loungers to go around, there is a lovely feel to the pool areas.
The rooms are absolutley spottless & have balconies looking over the pools.

We went all inclusive, which I wouldn't reccomend for couples. the food was pretty basic & had little or not Canarian dishes, it was all chips & fried food, (the salad bar was pretty good). the pool side bars serve food all day. It would be perfect for a family with children.

There are plenty of restaurants within a 10 minute walk of the property & the old town is within walking distance - where you will find tapas bars & plenty of local, chinese & European restaurants.

All in all a clean frendly property with lovely apparments.

I would reccomend

me an my friend both aged 17 went on our first holiday alone to green oasis it was fantastic. After reading the bad reviews we were slightly worried but on arrival to the hotel we were pleasently suprised. The one bedroom appartment was huge and very clean. Being out of season it was very lively and we quickly made friends with a young family from shrewsbury and a group of boys from blackpool . The food was okay a large selection but alot of fish being hungover most days we just stuck to chips lots of salad and the desert was amazing. The bar and entertainment was funny we often joined in. The barman danny was cheerful and friendly but his one rule was he didnt do small mesures so if you ask for a small brandy your going to get a large very large they had a cocktail of the day which was a tad warm but adding ice sorted that out. They stopped serving alcohol around eleven which worked out fine as we just got a taxi to the main strip(3 euros) and the nightlife in puerto del carmen is the best you could wish for. We were planning on going back in April but are very sad to hear its closed down.

Booked at the Loma Verde for the new year. Very shocked to find that what they are advertising as the Loma verde is now closed and up for sale. The food was awful and always cold. The dining area was far to small, and on new years eve for the gala dinner you couldn't get a seat. The rooms were very basic and very damp. You couldn't hang your clothes in the wardrobe because of the smell. Have been on lots of all inclusive holidays and this was the worse by far. They definately need to look at what they are advertising as it is definately miss leading and false advertising.
