Needing to be at Bordeaux airport early in the morning was the only reason I booked this hotel. It was a hasty decision on my part, however it was not awful.
The layout of the hotel reminded me of chalets. The bathroom reminded me of a Port-a-Loo, with a broken shower added for good measure. I will say that the beds were very comfortable and that I got a good nights sleep before my trip home.
I was disappointed to see a sign saying that they spoke english, which was not the case. I know I am in France and should make an effort speaking their language, but any good hotel in Europe has at least one english speaking member of staff. I resorted in the end to using Google Translate to communicate with the staff member.
The car park is locked at night, which was good as you want to get that hire car back in one piece! However, you need that car if you want to see anything because as far as I could see there was NOTHING of interest around this hotel.
Would I stay there again? I am not 100% sure that I would, but if you want a comfortable bed and cheap prices, this hotel ticks those boxes.
