The hotel was great. Location, service, facilities, rooms and tidiness where all at high standard. There was a swimming pool and very close walking distance to a large shopping center. The staff where very helpful and friendly and tried there very best to give advice on up and coming events around the area.

A convenient stopover before/after crossing the river Loire. Quiet location and clean accommodation. Free wifi and a good breakfast. A short drive from a Buffalo Grill if you need an evening meal. Good value-for-money. Not sure anyone would ever us the small outdoor pool though!

After a nine hour drive from Spain we got stood up by a hotel in Pornichet and this appeared to be the only hotel around which had space. It was fairly hard to find in the dark, it's in the middle of an industrial estate with a lot of round abouts, but once we got there the staff on the desk were so welcoming and understanding of us running round like headless chickens after arriving at nearly midnight, spoke great English, and were very accommodating, it was a great relief after the reception we had had at the earlier hotel! The room was clean with a great shower, and we had a great nights sleep. There were several restaurants close to the hotel, within walking distance, although nothing to shout about, normal shopping centre type stuff, we ended up at a Chinese buffet. There was no trouble parking, and the industrial estate on the whole was quite, well lit and non-threatening (we were 2 girls walking around at midnight). It was quite expensive, I think around 70/80 Euros, but that was just turning up on the night, so to be expected I think.
