Small 2 star hotel near the beach with the beautiful Sanary-sur-mere on a walking distance. Some rooms are in an awful state. Other are quite OK with nice new bathrooms. See the rooms first before you confirm your booking! The ladies at the reception and at breakfast are really doing their best. Their boss and the owner of the hotel (a red haired middle aged lady) is a nightmare though. She bullies her staff and is actually really rude to the guests. We made some arrangements by mail and she simply told us that they were not made by her. She doesnt speak one word English and even in French she won't listen. Absolutely unbebelievable. Try to avoid her. She works behind the reception from 8am to 3 pm.

We booked 2 rooms with sea views but when we turned up were told that only 1 room had a sea view due to a flood. The replacement room overlooked a garage and was very shabby. Next morning we asked if the problem had been fixed but the woman didn't seem to know what we were talking about. Obviously they'd simply double-booked our room which was very annoying as we had booked 6 weeks in advance. We then asked if the room overlooking the garage would be cheaper but she said 'No'. She was incredibly unfriendly and unhelpful.
All the common parts of this hotel were extremely tatty and its location was right on a main road so it was very noisy with traffic and loud music (from next door clubs) all night. Eventually my friend and I found a lovely hotel called Hotel de la Tour which we highly recommend. Friendly, helpful service. Beautiful rooms, Simply very charming.

we travelled with some friends and had reserved 2 junior suite at this hotel for September 12. The location is great, right in front of a private beach. But the rooms are quite small a(I would not call that a suite) and well the bathroom is very very small and as per other reviews, has an accordeon type of door which does not close properly and makes a lot of noise when trying to close it. But the price was good and the rooms very clean. There was lots of different restaurants righ beside the hotel. We were traveling up the Franch Riviera and staying just for one night. So for this type of traveling, I would definitly go back.

The information on all the websites I saw for this hotel are out of date. The hotel was taken over 2 years ago and now they no longer use the restaurant on site as a restaurant, only a breakfast room. The hotel now has an arrangement with a good restaurant next door, L'Esquinade, and I would recommend it.
The private beach is only open from June I was told when we got there, although on the website it states from May onwards. The photos of the rooms are skillfully done, but not so nice in reality. The stairs and landings are quite dark, and there is no lift. We had a superior sea view room for 85 euros a night, room only and it was small and not very nicely furnished, however the bathroom was new and well finished. A shelf would be helpful for toiletries, and places to hang towels - ours were folded on the edge of the sink. Having said all that the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Our sea view also included the service station next door. I would not recommend this if you want a quiet place to chill in the sun. I would recommend it if you just want a base for the area.
