We landed late, needed to pick up supplies in Alicante next morning so decided to organise a stopover. I'd maxed out my cards, and had to pay in cash on my arrival, but it wasn't a problem - reception was very nice about it.
Having read other reviews, and based the decision to stay upon them, I must say that the complaint I read about the corridor lighting being low may be factually accurate, but it's not a problem, and in my opinion I thought it was restful.
The underground garage was adequate for me to park my old merc e220, which is more like a small bus than a car, parking was included in our deal, um the lighting does go off a bit sharpish, but you aren't left in total darkness and the switch is easy to find, it's got a little green light on it.
Breakfast was fine, they cater mainly for the spanish palate but the toast and butter was plentiful, as was all the food, a range of salami's cheeses, hams, and pastrys, along with the coffee which was pleasant. We got breakfast included in our deal.
The double bedroom was actually two large single beds, but they are large, there was room for me, my wife and our 5 year old to sleep and not come into contact even once.
The room layout is fine too, I found the shower to be more than adequate, and we made use of the soaps and towels provided.
Aircon was a bit too effective, you don't need to turn it right down.
Service was pleasant and efficient at all times, and they did their best to bridge the language barrier provided by my simple spanish.
Very clean, and perfect for a quick stop over when you just want to sleep before travelling on.
Didn't use the spar. Wifi is available in the lobby, and the speed was fine, I didn't buy wifi in the room.
One funny thing, I checked out and offered to pay for the water I'd had from the minibar, and was told that THAT was included in the price as well. Ok, there was only water coke and fanta orange, but that made me smile.
Yes, we'd use it again.
