We were lucky enough to get a Winter special deal from the Campanile website. It offered us a Double room for 39 Euro. We checked on the website for the reception opening hours (as we knew we would be arriving late) they said reception was open until 10pm and then there was a night porter.
When we arrived at the hotel, there was no night porter to be found. We tried to ring the bell at the reception and knocked on the door but got no answer. There was a self service check in point which you could pay on your card to make a new reservation but as we had already paid on the website for the winter rate we were reluctant to do this.
Fortunately after 10 mins the night porter appeared and gave us our key. We were shown across the carpark to Room 1. The room was nice, a little small but very cosy. The heating had been put on in our room before we arrived so it was toasty when we got there. Nice tea tray and bathroom products. Bathroom was big, with bath and a very powerful shower.
Bed was comfy and bedding was nice, only downside was that we didn't find the extra pillows until the next morning but that was our fault for being too tired to look properly!!
Cannot comment on breakfast as we didn't eat it but the restaurant looked nice enough when we went to check out.
Will stay again if cn get such a good rate!!.
