A very unfriendly female owner! Though the food is very nice (although the breakfast is very poor; no fruits or cornflakes) and her son knows what hospitality is, we won't recommend this hotel to anyone. The owner is not at all flexible and gives you a snear if you wait to long to mention at breakfast what you want for dinner!
It's a very old hotel, with cracky floors and tiny rooms. It's very noisy (we heard our neighbour snore the whole night) and they ask a supplement if you want a bit larger room.

We had bought a Hotels guide (ANWB guide) were this hotel was rated as a 3star hotel and so, without checking ahead we booked a night there. We arrived late, with no time for further options! For a 3star hotel the room had no TV, telephone, hair dryer, space and cleaning conditions. The bathroom was tiny, and not so clean (specially the fan above the shower, full of old webs). The bed mattress was OK but the blanket was old and stained. It was impossible to keep our bag open and move around. The carpet was also old and stained. On the other hand, the dinner room was cozy and the meal exquisite. Nice place to have dinner, but not the best spot to stay overnight.
