Firstly, it wasn't terribly easy to find the hotel. We were travelling with friends, and their TomTom satnav found it ok but our Garmin was taking us in circles. I still think it's quite a good location, not too far from the motorway.
Once we found it, there was plenty of parking and the Gendarmerie also park there, so we felt that our car was secure.
Reception staff were helpful, and moved our rooms around so that we could all be close together.
Even by Campanile standards, the rooms were small, but they were in reasonable decorative order, with a good standard of cleanliness. The beds were comfy, with nice duvets. There was a kettle, coffee, biscuits, UHT milk, but only 1 teabag!
There was no road noise if you kept the window shut, and it wasn't too bad with it open.
We ate dinner in the restaurant, which was ok, and breakfast, which had plenty of choice.
We like Campanile hotels for their fairly consistent standard and the convenience of the on-site restaurant, and I would happily stay at this one again, but I might also consider the Premiere Classe, which is on the same site but cheaper, and you can pop over to the Campanile restaurant.
