This is a budget hotel, as you would expect from the price that you pay for the rooms.
It is clean, comfortable and very convenient for the main route to and from Calais.
We chose this hotel as our last stop on our 10 day holiday, where we had been travelling around europe and we wanted to stay near to Calais as we had an early ferry booked the next day. We knew that we would be travelling around 500 miles that day and so wanted to ensure that when we arrived we would be able to eat and drink at our hotel. Everything looked great on the website and had just what we wanted, so we booked.
Our hotel booking was on a Sunday.
However on arrival we discovered that the hotel restaurant was closed on a Sunday, and as the hotel was in a commercial area, were told that we would have to travel into town to find somewhere to eat - which we did.
On returning to the hotel in the evening we enjoyed a few drinks in the evening sun. Again to our amazement the hotel bar closed at 19:30 - so an early night had to be had by all.
To add insult to injury the night receptionist made themselves something to eat in the kitchen and then ate it in the restaurant area - in full view of us!!
I would recommend that you avoid this hotel and book somewhere in the town of Arras instead. We certainly will not be staying here again.
