This hotel was poorly signposted and difficult to locate.On arrival it had a rundown appearance and uncut grass.The young woman on reception seemed somewhat surly and insisted that a dinner reservation must be taken early at 7.15 pm..On entering the restaurant for dinner we were put at a table next to the door (despite protesting). It took 3 tries to find a bottle of wine that was in stock. When my meal was served the chips were a dark brown colour and hard and tepid.The steak was like old boots.I sent it back with caustic comments and indicated to the so called chef that I should not be charged for such rubbish.All the staff seemed overworked and rushed. A horrible experience

“Basic but fine for the GP”
My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights in Hune 2008. We were attending the French GP in Magny Cours and this was the closest accomodation we could find. The hotel is 2* and is pretty average. However, it is clean, has a nice little restaurant and friendly staff. The rooms are pretty basic but they have air con and good showers. I would not pick this hotel for seeing Bourges as it is certainly not walking distance to anywhere but it's fine once you have a car. Overall we were quite happy with it for the GP weekend.

- Disliked — Noisy GP fans on a bus tour
