We stayed at this hotel about fives years ago with only one small complaint, but liked the hotel at that point for the most part. It has since changed hands and there have been slight improvements and remains a great place to stay.

Check in was smooth and check out a breeze. There are luggage carts available right at the entrance. There are vending machines, but the one on the 2nd floor was empty. It's not a huge deal to run down to the vending machine located in the lobby. There is a business desk with a computer avaible for guest use. Free wireless internet is also available for the duration of your stay.

We stayed at this hotel on a hockey tournament weekend and the staff handled this with ease. Even though they were completely booked, the hotel remained very quiet and we got a uninterrupted sleep throughout our stay.

The Best Western in Sioux Lookout is one of the cleanest hotels that I have stayed in in the Northwestern Ontario Region. The rooms are very clean, nicely decorated, spacious and are equiped with everything you need; including a mini fridge, coffee pot and condements, hair dryer, iron and ironning board should you require them.

The buffet style breakfast offers alot of options, the same option each day. Cereals, juices, milk, coffee, teas, toast, bagels, boiled eggs, cinnamon rolls, fruit, waffles and condements. The breakfast area is located on the 2nd floor and overlooks the lake. Very nice! A great start to our day!

We never had one issue during our stay. The water ran hot and clean, the towels and supplies restocked each day. The pool and gym were spotless. The front desk staff was very cheerful and helpful with every request. One chambermaid wasn't very welcoming...(smile once in a while) But she obviously does a great job, so thank-you!

We felt secure enough to leave our valuables out and nothing was touched. (There isn't a safe in the room.)

This hotel does not have a restaurant located in it, but there is one located acorss the street and another just 2 minutes down the street. The golf and country club is a ways away, but they serve great food so it's worth going tour of your way for.

We will definately book again!

Honestly, I have nothing bad to say about the global quality of this hotel, only good comments!
Rooms are spacious & clean. There is a beautiful pool & a lot of equipments in the gym.
Continental breakfast offered at the third floor with an overlooking of the lake.
Complimentary soup & cookies are offered in evening.
There is a mini fridge in the room but no microwave. But you can use the microwave in the lobby.
Fast wireless internet & also business desk with computer & printer at the lobby.
Highly recommended!

Cleanest and best of the hotels in Sioux Lookout. A real effort has been made to rise above the service provided at nearby hotels, and the tempurpedic mattresses are ridiculously comfortable.

Wow, I did not expect hotel of this level in northern Ontario. Clean, spacious rooms, polite staff. No microwaves in rooms but there is one in the lobby for everyone to use along with complementary tea/coffee. Great gym and pool, they actually sell memberships to locals. It was a pleasant surprise that in addition to free breakfast they also serve hot soups during lunch time on weekdays. I don't want my review to sound like an ad but I could not find anything wrong with this place. Usually I don't hesitate to expose shortcomings.
