I tottaly agree with the reviewers below. This is a absolutly beautiful place, complete with Free Popcorn, any time you want...great for a bedtime snack!

The Lobby is very warm and welcoming with a fireplace, and a breakfast room off to the left. The Manager is very friendly, and does everything she can to make you comfortable. The other staff that checked us in was a little Rude, but nothing compared to what I have dealt with in the past.

The rooms are very clean and well decorated, the whole place is decorated in very beautiful, warm Decor...which as the last reviewer said, is Uncommon for a Super 8 or any hotel in it's class.

The waterslide was really enjoyable, it was quite the ride. Wonderful for kids!!!! There was also a business centre, which was great for checking E-mails and such. And there was an excersize room which was wonderful!!!!!!!

Overall, I would recommend this to anyone in search for a clean, comfortable, NICE, motel, at a great price!!!

I'm in agreement with most of the comments from the previous 3 reviewers. Beautiful lobby, 2 free computers (available 24 hours), and help yourself to free popcorn. The rooms are beautifully decorated. Warm woods and earthy colours. I was not expecting that for a Super 8. Even comes with a microwave and fridge.

The hotel is at the edge of town. There are interior corridors and an elevator in this 2 floor hotel. Main floor rooms also have exterior doors.

I thought the breakfast was just okay. Don't look for cereal or yogurt.

There is a coin laundry. Exercise room has LifeFitness equipment, including treadmill, eliptical, and stationery bike. Weights and equipment as well. Added bonus: 24 hours.

Enjoyed the pool and waterslide, open till 10pm. (And I'm no kid!)

I must say that I am really impressed with the Super 8 in Ponoka, AB. I have stayed in many Super 8's and most are just very basic, nice, but basic. Well the Super 8 Motel in Ponoka exceeded our expectations with all the extra amenities. The general manager was also a really nice young lady. Although the view is nothing amazing the hotel was really nice!!

We rented a room @ the super 8 in Ponoka and it was a beautiful place!! Our room was huge and very nice and clean. The whole place has great decor including the rooms which is wierd for a budget motel.

This place also had tons of perks like free popcorn, free breakfast, free computer use, Waterslide, excerside room, and an A&W diner attached to it.

The beds were also amazing!!

The waterslides were really fun for the kids, and the first night we had them to oursleves. The free breakfast in the morning was excellent as well.

The lady at the desk on check in was a little rude but the lady who checked us out was very nice and she turned out to be the manager.

Overall a great place and just off the highway. You don't even have to enter City Limits!!
