“Worst Hotel stayed in my entire Kumaun Trip”

I had researched about the hotel on the net and although the proce was little more (Rs 4000+) had booked this hotel.From outside it looked pretty nice but the rooms were very dirty,theye were cockroaches all around teh room.The bathrooms were unclean and on teh top of that the hotel staff was bad.They charged us 500 rs for keeping our luggages.Despite charging exhorbiatntly the hotel didnt had the basic cleanliness and we had a very bad experience staying the hotel

“Good Hotel on 'The Mall'”

We went to Nainital in December end. We wanted to stay close to the Naini Lake and believe me that Alka Hotel is the best hotel which is Lake facing with all the types of rooms from Economical to Maharaja style.
Some good points:
We found the hotel neat and clean.
Ambiance is really good.
Room service is good.
Centrally Heated.
Wi-Fi as well free internet service for the guests which is really good to have for checking the emails at odd times.
Although this hotel is little expensive as compared to other hotels on the Mall road but really worth its value.
