Our stay was marred by cold wet October weather. The external swimming pool, no doubt would be more inviting in the middle of summer. We stayed to break our journey off the motorway. The hotel is right beside the autoroute. Parking is convenient outside the entrance to each motel style room.

The hotel's restaurant, as is usual in Spain, opened late -- too late for our simple overnight break plans. There was a large family party using the restaurant which looked inviting. We eat in the bar which was noisy and cold. Service was surprisingly poor. When our food was ready, I was called to the bar to collect it. This was the first time during our stay in Spain that this occurred.

The rooms were basic but OK. There was a used food tray left outside our room door that remained throughout our stay.

We needed to plan our next day's travel and book accommodation with the help of the internet. But the connection was very slow, it took over an hour to do what should normally take 15 minutes. It spoiled the evening.

Perhaps it was the weather; perhaps it was the disappointing internet but we did not enjoy this stay and I do not believe we will return.

The hotel Tryp el Hidalgo is like a motel it is old but clean,we can park our car next to our room, we have include the breakfast in the prize, was very good. the front desk person Pepe was very nice and helpfull. the only thing was the dinner at the restaurant, they don't have averithing in the menu, they said they change every week. and the food was poor. Was only two persons working in the restaurant and they took a long time for the drink and to bring the silver
even the waiter was very nice.
