Excellent for exploring the beautiful island of Corfu short walk to Gouvia town where there are bars restaurants nightclubs best breakfast ever

Good value hotel in a good area to explore Corfu with a car.
We had one of the old rooms i quess the refubrished rooms in the middle of the complex are better value.

This was a lovely hotel, clean and comfortable, food very good and reasonably priced, pool was huge and very clean set in lovely gardens.Unfortunately my experience was spoiled by the attitude of the staff, I arrived at the hotel at 12.40 in the morning,the man at the front desk didnt speak or look at me, no greeting no eye contact, only spoke one word which was " passport" gave me a key and a gadget for the air conditioning, no explanation, no pleasantries at all.
One morning at breakfast i inadvertantly sat down at the wrong table , huge crime apparently, i was shouted at by the manager across the room in front of all the other diners and told very rudely that i could not sit there and to move, i was then berated by another female member of staff who again shouted that the table were set for evening and i shouldnt be there, i then moved but the female in question followed me to the table and still not finished with me continued to have a go at me, I was upset and embarrased and left the dining room. I did not have breakfast again.
Oher minor incidents where staff were very brusque to the point of rudeness.

Such a lovely place but totally spoiled by the attitude of staff, dont know whether it was because i was English or not, wouldnt like to say for sure but most odd. Definatley would not go back.

The hotel is a difficult location for anyone with walking problems, with a steep incline of about
three hundred yards to the road.There is also a 15min. walk to Gouvia village ,where the beach
has toilet facilities, and a selection of bars,shops,and plenty of places to eat.
The hotel is in a very pleasant setting with great scenery around, hotel swimming pool is very good but again steps in and out difficult for the older swimmers to get out
Selection of food limited at times, and never hot.
The room allocated to us was of poor standard,so I asked for change before unpacking after seeing manageress was allocated to a much better room. Mr. d .h. scott
