stayed two nights last week. E95. top room overlooking junction of two canals. vertiginous balcony, beautiful views. good facilities, great bathroom, furniture,bed etc.secure garage two minute walk.If going to sete stay here. ask for a canal view room when booking to avoid disappointment.

I stayed here for 4 days in July. This was my second visit, having stayed there in 2007. The room had a great canal view and the bathroom looked like it had very recently been re-done. Fabulous walk-in shower, elegant black and white design and it was spotless throughout. The room was ok in size and I liked the dual wardrobes although a mirror in the bedroom wouldn't have gone astray. Free wi-fi was convenient. Bed was very comfy and air-conditioning a dream in the hot sun of Sete. Staff were friendly and room was cleaned to a high standard every day. We took breakfast on one day and it is nice to experience it if you're prepared to pay the €10 a head. Cereals, bread, croissants, yoghurts etc. Nothing special apart from the yummy fresh bread/croissants and elegant setting.
The restaurant was closed while we were there so we did not try it out.
I really like this hotel and would stay again if going back to Sete. I love Sete too!

Sete can be quite crowded and noisy in the summer months, but Le Grand Hotel sits on a quiet intersection of two canals and is a delight! Great seafood restaurants nearby, helpful reception desk and spacious rooms (ask for a corner room with a view of the canals).
