I went away with my school to this hotel and it was lovely. We arrived earlier than planned and the hotel didn't mind, we had a little wait but that was expected as there were nearly eighty of us. The pool is a bit small I'll admit and when all seventy kids tried to get in it made it seem tiny but that didn't matter as long as you are in good company. The food is lovely. I'm not fussy and will eat most things and I think if you are going to an all inclusive hotel than you need to be willing to try different things. The staff were pleasant and greeting in the restaurant as well as on the front desk. The front desk was manned nearly 24/7 and all the staff on front desk spoke good English. When we got up to our rooms we discovered at one of the shelves in our wardrobe was broken. We reported this to the front desk and the next day whilst we were out someone came and fixed it. The maid service is daily and they left the place spotless. They even folded our pj's! We didn't have a beach view and were above the rubbish but there were no issues, the collection in the morning wasn't loud and there were no strong smells.
At the end of the day the hotel isn't 5* and you don't pay for that so you can't expect it. If 70 school kids aged between 11 and 16 can have a lovely holiday then I think a family will enjoy themselves. One last thing about the food, it is very Spanish but there is plenty of choice, it's hot and freshly cooked. After all you are in Spain so the food is going to be Spanish!
